As you’ve mentioned Crypt, this stocks a weak buy.
You’d likely benefit more by putting your funds into Menzies Plc, Airlines, Rolls Royce, or even SIG Plc which hasn’t moved for months. Legit will this give you 100% return on investment? Doubtful.
Where as the others listed above probably will. I can’t see this getting to £8.50 a share (100% return)

Each to their own of course, always do your own research as after all it’s your money. Valuing a company (this market cap) based on one years turnover because shops were closed and they had little to no competition is stupidity.

I’m excited for this share. I’m also really liking their social media these days, they’re ramping it up!

I think it’s only going up from here on! And even so I’m invested for the future. So if it dips I’m buying more it’s that simply. Buy and hold and enjoy our dividends in years to come!

This stock is way overvalued. It’s sales have rocketed due to the pandemic. Once we’re out of lockdown many of their customers will go back to the high street for their cards just to even get out of the house! Card Factory were slow with the online app and their new website in lockdown, although I know which I’d rather have my money in. Card Factory, massively undervalued and a good dividend once returned. Good luck to anyone who invests in either of course.

They’re promoting the app more on social media and getting famous influencers onboard to promote their brands (Instagram) I actually see a bright future with CARD.
Highly undervalued, It’s not cool enough for some people. Moonpig sounds fun and jazzy! But overvalued to the max.
I will not be putting a penny into Moonpig. I’m a CARD Factory lad and I’m staying loyal. I actually also want to see some shops left on the high street for when we return to normal.

£7,000 in with 17,5000 shares. I’ll top up if they need us to buy more. I’m confident CARD will pull this out the bag.
£1 minimum by December 2021. Surely it’s worth 25% of what Moonpig currently is ??

I’m not buying into Moonpig. I’m all on Card. 100% return when these hit 70p a share. Easy money and a brilliant business model with so many much more potential.

I was also invested in Aston Martin, SIG plc, to name but a few! I’ve still got a small holdings in SIG Plc.
I had a large holding in Menzies Plc. Sold these for a £9.2k profit in December at £2.50 a share. They’re now dropping to under £2.00 a share so I’m back in on them with a smaller holding ;) Lots of good plays around lately. I’m also in on Mitie too!

If CARD issue a Rights Issue. I will be fully behind the company and taking up my fair share, Much more than I would’ve been with stocks such as Cineworld, Aston Martin, SIG plc.

I really hope everyone in this thread would too. We need to support this profit making British Business through tough times as honestly they’re going to reward us highly when we’re out of this pandemic.

Let’s be honest. Anything under 40p is a bargain. If they go to 20p a share i’m not worried, If there is one storm I’ll be riding in this market it’ll be this one with CARD.

I’m already holding 17,000 shares at £0.40 per share.
Ok, I’m in the red. But at 40p per share this is still a bargain.
12-18 months from now I’ll be wishing I bought more.

I’m going to wait before adding anymore as you say carllapos. I might bring this up to 20,000-30,000 shares when I know where the ships sailing.

Same with you stevebt. Which other company has managed to pay off over £20,000,000 in debt in a global pandemic? If anything most companies have gotten into huge debts. I’m assuming non essential retail will re-open start of March (Who really even knows!?) I’m in Wales so our rules are pretty much the opposite to the central English government. We’ll see!

Long term this share is a GOLD. Hugely undervalued. Much more profitable than moonpig and we have actual shops.

I think people would be stupid to buy Moonpig on release on the IPO as IMO that’ll drop and this’ll simply rise. Moonpig is valued on its Covid level of sales, which is much higher than in pervious years (hence them coming to market, maybe?)

Financial Times are predicting this as a 224% return within 12 months priced at £1.30 a share. Can I personally see that? Easily! And hopefully a £0.14 dividends per share.

Imagine buying shares in this at £0.37 each, You’ll double your money to £0.74 in a matter of months. Easily.

I’m going to buy another 5,000 shares tomorrow. I’ll then hold 20,000. IMO of course haha, I think this stocks a no brainier. Look at Aston Martin, didn’t make a profit, in huge debt. It was at £0.29 a share back in the summer. It was recently £1 a share. (£20.00 per share in new money) I’m sure the F1 and the new SUV along with big investments has booted this price ofc.

Hold, Don’t sell.
As tomc1 has mentioned looks at Cineworld. They have huge debt. They can’t sell online they have no revenue in Britain. This is a sit, hold and don’t panic share. It’ll come good. Look at John Menzies. Everyone was shared it dropped from £4-£5 a share to 66p pence. It’s now worth £2.30+ I sold at £2.50 in December and took £9,000 profit.

I’d suggest if you’ve got shares in CARD. Sit, wait and hold.
We’re still in a national lockdown with a pandemic worser than March 2019. Therefore we need to be relaxed this company makes a profit and has very little debt compared to other businesses. It’s undervalued. Buy at 30p (if that comes) or 37p today. You’ll look back this time next year once it’s £1+ and you’ll think crikey why didn’t I buy at 37p

Who knows maybe Moonpig will want to buy us all out once they’ve floated with their £1 billion pound business that makes less profit than ours ??

This has so much potential, outside of Covid this is a profitable company, and with Moonpig coming onto the market I think that’ll even ramp up this share price. Super undervalued as it is. How CARD has a market cap of 2 times its annual profits is beyond me! Undervalued.

Sales to trading partners over the period grew by c. 63% compared to the previous year
