One things for sure Stas20 - they're making us 'work' for our money. If the SP does ever rise like a phoenix out of the ashes like we hope I think my overriding feeling will be relief not revelation. Its been some ride from my original purchase price of c.£8+. I think i watched too many fund manager interviews who signalling this was bargain after the sell of late 2023.

There is something ironic about us rising in a falling market.

Yeah this is terrible run into results so far, however I feel some FOMO may come into play and bring this closer to £4 before results.

I do share concerns of others though, I've seen some decent results posted recently on other shares have little to no consequence on the SP.

Will be waiting with bated breath.

Darton - surely a recovery play for the us (which was massively over valued) is a risky move !? They're doing a pretty good job at alienating the rest of the world right now. They may have a number of domestic investors but I'd suggest quite a few are international. Its a lot like the Tesla crashing due to Elon Musks approach.

This is manipulation, I saw it prior to Mars purchase of Hotel Chocolat. I made some pretty decent money on that share with 148% return.

My average is a lot higher than I want it to be here, £4.90 (a lot less than it was) but I take solace in the fact I haven't seen any real material sales of positions from the people way more exposed than myself. I suspect there are a lot of people with much higher averages than me given where this was a year ago.

We'll see where we are in a month, 6 months and year but I think we'll be back in a strong position. I have intrinsic value at £7 a share.

Hi, please can someone explain the morning spikes in SP? Are these out of hours trading/buys driving up price or are they something else?

If they do get that low an offer i am not sure they take it. The shakespear family have at least 8.4 million shares. Stephen Shakespear has sufficient incentive to get a good deal or bring this one back. He had the knowledge and experience to do so. Just a question of time.

I have intrinsic value at c.£7. The SP was £12 last Feb and yougov made some strategic acquisitions since. Yes they've used cash doing so but they just need to refill the coffers and we're back to looking like a very attractive investment.

Yougov in ready to rocket in my opinion. The slightest bit of positive news will people to research intrinsic share value and 12month peak and recognise this as an absolute bargain.
