Looked to me like someone was loading up Friday. Managed to get myself some more at 262 which I am pleased about. I would not be surprised if we see a steady rise from here.

I saw that, was a little nervous there was some terrible news released for a moment

Would someone mind explaining how the reported shorts increase when the newly reported short says their is no change in their holding? Genuine question.

Personally just loaded up on another 5000 shares. Reduced my average. Buffet says (and I paraphrase) 'shares are the only asset class people run out the door in a sale'

If sold / buys are to be believed there was significantly more buys than sales today. Appreciate its not that robust argument due to tendency for incorrect reporting.

I am hopeful we'll see a meaningful rise between now and results. I was interested to note the final sentence on the notice of results RNS

'... in addition to an update on the Group's strategy.'

I have seen some good increases in SPs when a new strategy has been announced at shareholders presentations. St James was the last one I was invested in.

Tiny trade volume though!? How can a price fluctuate so much with relatively few trades? Is it lack of liquidity?

There's been a morning spike in share price every day this week. Does anyone know what that is likely to be?

Is it a coincidence loads of MMs load up on shorts then JPM reduces its target price? I don't think so. They're all in bed with each other.
