Let me just come back on this B1ll before I go out for the day, Potanin is sanctioned, he remains head of NN, NN itself isn't, but the US is being cautious in dealings, and what the US does, the UK will do. You have to go back to what I posted earlier, outwardly the UK want to be seen as towing the line ie keeping their allies on board - Europe and US, and thus following suit with them, inwardly, russian relations still exist here, the UK has not shut the door completely, and once this horrid war situation has ended, the UK will 'invite' relations to be built again, albeit slowly. Interesting in that article that Aslin suggests the war actually started several years beforehand and not in 2022! He actually joined up to fight with the Ukraine Marines in 2018!

The whole crux of the problem politically is that the UK cannot manage financially without Russian investment here. The good times came because the Russians came and invested their wealth heavily in the UK. They bought the biggest mansions in Surrey and Central London, they were bringing in massive wedges in billions in cash on their private jets, and whilst you and I would be stopped at an airport and have the money confiscated, they were waved through at the private airports they land in, many, of course, being royalty in their own countries and with diplomatic status. This is why we cannot afford to cut them off completely, so whilst the govt is towing the sanctions line outwardly, they are still encouraging russian relations, but the problem is the russians now feel hurt, and they've all gone off to Dubai with their money, they've virtually deserted London for the moment, and also London has become very unsafe, you cannot go out in Central London now with anything valuable on you it's too risky, someone I know left work a few weeks ago, having bought an expensive handbag in her lunch break, and when leaving the office at 8pm ish, she was mugged by moped riders on the way home who took her new bag. It's happening all the time, so the big money is now pouring out of the UK, and we now find ourselves in the mess that we are in, as foreign investment has dwindled. imho.

As a UK company, they can't do anything with NN whilst sanctions continue as he is sanctioned by the British govt. So NN is off the list indefinitely I would say, and in any event, NN gave the land to Eurasia effectively did they not, as they didn't find anything and didn't want it!

On a side note, did any of you read that Independent article about Aslin, when he says that he was hooded and taken from captivity to a private plane, and when on board, he looked at a person with him and said you look like Roman Abramovich, and he said, I am Roman Abramovich! Beast, they've been in a sales process since early 2015! It would actually help if they would just drop the sales process references, keep stum, and then announce if they actually do get something, either sales or acquisition wise, but to keep peddling that they are in a sales process for 8 years and nothing has happened, has worn more than a bit thin, and has done a lot of damage to shareholders tbh.

Beast, in the manufacturing process, every component whatever it is wood, metal, whatever, has to be logged and accounted for as to its origin, so that if something goes wrong, theres a paper trail linking back to where it originated from. It isn't going to happen. In any event, there's a complete shift in change about batteries, as many car batteries are very combustible, and if you happen to own an EV, I would suggest definitely carrying a car fire extinguisher that will deal with car battery fires, although from articles I've read, they are so combustible the chances of walking away unscathed if one ignites isn't that great. Lithium batteries are much safer of course.

If you think any russian metals will be coming in to the UK, think again! It's NOT going to happen! They will source from elsewhere, as Europe is doing so. Putin wants his metals for his own domestic market place.

Changing the record slightly, there's an interesting account on apple news tonight written by Rob Hastings for The Indepedent, which gives an account of Aiden Aslin's captivity by Putin's soldiers. Aslin has written a book about his captivity also entitled Putin's Prisoner. His account of what happened to him in the article on apple news is quite powerful imo. Well worth a read.

Has everyone noticed how DR and IKN twist snippets from everything they post. For instance, he has provided a full name of someone a few pages back, and embodied that name to make it look as though it was a part of the post! yet that person has never posted on here under that name, yet this is how DR twists things, and the same with IKN, they take something and either change the wording or superimpose some details just to make it look real, just like Mac! DR and IKN are one and the same imo, one appears and carries on the diatribe for some time and then the other comes and takes over and DR disappears for a while. They are definitely one and the same, just logging in under different monikers. Must be earning a fortune with their 50ps if that is what they get for all of this disruption. They blindly carry on thinking peeps can't see through them, I mean, how thick can they really be? incredibly thick it seems!

Expecting a deal to be concluded very soon, but in the mean time, shareholders are entitled to question anything relating to their investment, albeit there are some on this forum who are not invested, but don't have much going on in their lives and they need the attention. People invest into a business based on their own research, and comments from the Board of Directors who say what they can to entice investors in. Some are thousands of pounds down, and rightly or wrongly have put the faith into this BoD. It's extremely condescending to have a pop at people "moaning". It's their right, as it's their money.

From what I have heard, the BoD got a little too greedy back in 2021, and could have taken a deal at a much higher price than we will get from this current sale (but they won't tell you that!), and Keith ignores most investors.

As I said, expecting the news to land at anytime now, but it's unfair to tell people to "Just Relax" - A deal is not done, until it's done."

The Judge hasn't thrown the case out ikn. If someone else is trying to lay claim to ownership since the case started, then no doubt there would have been an interim hearing on that matter alone, or a request to join whoever it is in to the proceedings, but I can't see any such hearing or request.
