It's difficult as it's an unknown as to how many shop rentals they are getting rid of and which ones, although some have already gone it seems.

Hi Munichmann, sometimes, if you're lucky, if you put the authors name of the article in to the web, you can find it or find the author discussing it on another site but not always. You can usually see who the author is before the paywall intervenes!

Anyhow, happy to shake hands and call a truce as I assume we are both hoping for the same positive outcome.

I never understand why people put a negative slant on a share if you're invested in it. If you post anything negative, then the conclusion drawn is that you are unlikely to be an investor but either trying to get a lower entry to trade, or a shorter who wants to exit as low as possible.

I've invested my hard earned cash to see this through, and so if I want to put out positive aspects to the case as to why I'm invested, then I don't see why I should be continually bashed for it by the same monikers time after time.

I nearly posted half an hour ago Munichmann that the shorts appear to be leaving quite frantically. The trades are mismatched, they don't follow, so there is a sell for x number, then a buy a bit later for just under the sell amount, and then a small buy not long after to make up the final balance.

GSA Capital need to exit and fast, I'd originally thought he would go for next Friday, but he might decide to go early and make an announcement this afternoon, evening or tomorrow, in case of a leak. Let's hope he does as th anxiety levels are high!

I'm convinced there are interns lurking here from GSA Capital trying to persuade shareholders to sell so as to lower the sp. These guys usually have a lowish posting count in small outfits such as GSA. So you can make your own minds up who they might be. They might make enough for their lunch money, but that will be about it.

The September interview with Dunkerton which I've posted links to previously, he stated at that time that he would not propose going down the CVA route. Whether his view has changed since then, who knows, but September last year a CVA was not in his mind. Do some research dean01.

I do wish people would post links to back up their statements, if you don't post links, then it should be disregarded in my view otherwise such statements can be very misleading. Views and perceptions are different,but when you are stating "nobody else has expressed an interest here" then you're making a statement with nothing to back it up, and when there is clearly evidence to the contrary from media reports. This is what annoys me.

Sheltie, that's incorrect insofar as intial media reports were that Authentic Brands and Next were also in talks with Dunkerton, so we have no idea who is definitely interested, how it will be financed, and whether it will be a consortium bid. All we know is that Dunkerton is in talks with a number of parties including financiers.

Bacchus11, you carry on deramping. If it were £400 mill, we'd be talking about £4 a share, no one has even mentioned anything like that, but as you're accepting analyst valuations of £400 mill, then good on you, I'll await my £4 per share and be very very happy!

Drizzy, only thing that concerns me on possible take over sp is how many people are sat here having paid over £1.35 for their shares, and would they vote against £1.35 say?
