Still holding but have let 30,000 shares go today, not many in the whole scheme of things, but just slightly concerned when Davidson Kempner are decscribed in various press articles as being "aggressive." They will very much want something out of this if they do board the train, and I'm just wondering what Dunkerton can give them that would be enough, but also not to give too much away for himself?

People, you need to learn, this lot who have been at it for years, they start to post bid on the way, something happening etc, well after they've bought, they then entice you all to buy in more, and then they collapse the sp between 3.30pm and 4pm when they shift out, and the same thing tomorrow and so it will go on this week until there is news.

How many times have those of us who have been around 15-20 years of investing seen this clap trap, yet people continually get sucked in by it.

No doubt the 1o%ers will collapse the sp at 4pm ish, if no positive news today. As I say, this will go on all week without news, don't get caught in their silly games!

On valuation, I think you will see from the info I posted earlier today, that the number of shops operating has been reduced significantly, by some 500 or so from recollection, down from 700 odd to 200 odd, I am just saying that from memory, but I think they were the sort of figures. That in itself demonstrates a huge paring back and possible turnaround.

I've also said about reputation. Bearing in mind the circles JD moves in, reputation is key and failure is not an option for him.

Will he make that bid? Let's hope this week will provide an affirmative answer.

the 9th Feb rns from JD states he holds 26,118,795 shares being 26.3%

the director deals info on the tab above shows that at 30th May 2023 he held 27,278,882 which is more, yet it doesn't indicate any have been sold.

is it 27,278,882 or 26,118,795 just out of interest?

May be do a comparison with the Retail Gazette article entitled 'SuperDry boss Julian Dunkerton in talks for potential buyout' dated 11 December 2022.

Don't forget, Dunkerton has to have the cash to hand before he can make the bid. Therefore, I'm going still for Friday, on his birthday, at £1 per share, to be announced between 4.30pm and 5pm, after COP, so if you're in, you're in, if you're out, you're out, whichever way it plays. GLA whichever side of the fence you are on, it's been a blast! I'm not going to comment any further until the bid or no bid rns lands, but my money is obviously on a bid. my views.
