Just found an article relating to Kempner.

They loaned $250 million dollars to Byju? as part of a $1 billion funding round with the company having a valuation of $22 billion.

Based on that, then may be JD will get around £40 to £60 million from Kempner based on Superdry's valuations?

£60 mill say based on 73 million shares to finance, would be roughly 82p per share.

Personally, I would rather it was rounded up to at least £1. Even then there is the fear that a competitor might come in with a bid afterwards, so perhaps £1.50 to clench the deal, so may be JD will have to put up half of the security to get the deal across the line himself?

Hi Munichmann, I've literally nearly had heart failure at 2.10pm, my internet was cut! There are some guys working on the lines outside nearby and I could not get it to reboot. Marched out there and asked him if he had cut me off, he said no, but seemed mighty strange to me that it happened just as he was at that junction box! 25 mins later, having asked him to check my lines, I am now restored! Good job I had a laugh with them in the end, otherwise I fear my fate would have been sealed as knowing my luck, news would have arrived, and I would have been in the dark! The power of the internet hey!
