Most of the tat is caused by you, criticising someones posting count, which you misconstrued for starters. You are not the moderator but you seem to think its okay for you to act as one and make false accusations. And the link was posted by someone else from recollection. As bad as Dean01, perhaps the two of you are related!

Dean01 I bought 100,000 shares, that is correct, and from memory, someone else posted that they had seen it go through, what is your problem? I hold a lot more than that in total!

Janiax, there is no guarantee of a bid, so the TakeOver Panel for starters would be concerned if the MMs allowed the sp to run away on something that was definitely not a given, never mind the FCA, so steady as she goes at the moment, and fireworks once the bid news lands! imo.

All sounds very exciting Atisha, I'm sure the swimwear line will be an absolute hit. Yes, definitely looking forward to seeing who exactly is going to be involved, when the bid arrives :) Not long to wait :) xx

At a rough calc there are 70 million shares to be purchased as JD owns nearly 27 million that we know of.

You can do your own maths from that as to what might be a reasonable bid for those 70 million or so shares but I don't think the Board will give way without a bit of a bun fight! imo.

Sheltie, the problem is the offer could drop at any moment, time is of the essence now for JD and the interested parties, originally, even I thought he might announce on his birthday of 1 March, but new is starting to filter out, and I think they can't afford to wait much longer now. My belief is the bid is all but formulated, it's down to signing everything off, and therefore, it could even be announced today!
