Sheltie, the problem is the offer could drop at any moment, time is of the essence now for JD and the interested parties, originally, even I thought he might announce on his birthday of 1 March, but new is starting to filter out, and I think they can't afford to wait much longer now. My belief is the bid is all but formulated, it's down to signing everything off, and therefore, it could even be announced today!

Ha ha ha, I'm actually well in profit in both accounts. Don't forget I started buying at 15-19p, I've averaged up obviously, so I'm around 30p average now considering more recent buys, but still well in profit.

Stockcheque, even better, don't forget that JD will hold around 27-30% of the stock, so even less to fund!

Secondly, you said you had sold, and it was I who said it was showing as a buy, as the trade was at the highest price of the sp for the day.

Thirdly, I've barely sold any shares, I did a small sell early on this morning to test liquidity, which indeed confirmed to me that MMs were short of shares as the price shot up upon the sale. This also confirmed to me something that I had noticed elsewhere, and that news was highly likely before the end of the day, and I was right, as the story came out about the Oakland guy. It is also my belief that a bid has already been formulated. When it will be released to the market, who knows, but my belief is that matters are further advanced than the sky article suggests. I do like a picture with a prominent oak coffee table :)
