Compared to HE1 I think HEX has better geology, a shorter time to commerciality, lower costs, better jurisdiction, a board willing and able to engage with investors (high up my list of positive attributes) and a simpler task all for 22% of the valuation.
I suggest those who have gained an understanding of helium exploration through investing in HE1 are well placed to see the value of investing in Helix by taking advantage of the current HE1 price (notice how it isn't rising on good news this am) to put some money in Helix (HEX).
DM said the extra $3-4m taken in placing by Helix would allow company to drill a second appraisal well without needing more cash if they chose to do this. DM has also said that debt funding on future production/forward selling production would give option of not needing equity to go into production.

Re the post about expenditure plans DM said the extra $3-4m taken in placing would allow company to drill a second appraisal well without needing more cash if they chose to do this. DM has also said that debt funding on future production/forward selling production would give option of not needing equity to go into production. So unlike HE1 they are cashed up.
I have heard DM speaking about the drilling services companies local to their drilling site having all kit immediately available.
Compared to HE1 I think HEX has better geology, a shorter time to commerciality, lower costs, better jurisdiction, a board willing and able to engage with investors (high up my list of positive attributes) and a simpler task all for 22% of the valuation. So I added to my position today having been scaled back in IPO.
The time to participate in IPO has passed as it is all been done. The shares will trade for the first time on Tuesday and will be able to be bought and sold like any other share. If those who tried to buy a lot in IPO but had a small allocation or no allocation buy in the market it will open with strength. IPO stocks bought by flippers don't do so well. I believe much of the IPO stock has been taken by pre IPO sharholders who understand the story.

I was an investor in Helium One from when was a private company in 2015 to shortly prior to the price collapse at 5p. I had lost faith in the CEO and Chair. I have been following David Minchin's new helium company, Helix, for 9 months or so. The Helix IPO on AIM is on Tuesday 9th April just in time for new ISA allowances.
The pre IPO valuation of the company is only £4.3m so there is a massive upside. The (funded) appraisal drilling is in Q3. Their property is in Montana USA where it costs $2.5m to drill and test a well. To build a 55mcf pa plant costs $12-15m. Production could be pre sold to pay for the plant. The contrast with Tanzanian costs is striking and is one of the attractions. Plant payback is less than 12 months. Bo Sears the CEO is a very safe pair of hands. DM is Chair. They are looking to produce from more than one location so that they can sell directly to large users who would only commit to a contract with a supplier with multiple wells.
The fundamentals look VG to me and others I know who have followed Helium explorers and producers. I am expecting DM to be a good communicator with investors as he has been in the past. I think there is a lot of scope for share price appreciation prior to drilling in Q3. There is always drill risk however Bo Sears does have 25 years helium experience, see website bio helixexploration dot com . IPO price is 10p. The IPO funding is complete have been oversubscribed around 5X.
I like it a lot.

Do I understand from your comment
“Will take time to review the logs & get data back on the cores. They’ve obviously liked what they’ve seen on LWD to warrant the Wireline. Seeing the truck on site yesterday was a good sign but we still need it to reveal good data.”
that your interpretation is that they have drilled the KA, which they are about to/are doing Wireline tests, but they have not drilled the Cadeby?
I notice that the mid- point valuation for Corallian’s Victory Gas £40.5m is 0.57p per share, our whole market cap. Corallian’s fortunes have changed completely with this block.

INEOS set to acquire Cristals North American Titanium Dioxide Business from Tronox for $700 million.
INEOS Enterprises has today announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire The North American business of National Titanium Dioxide Company Limited (Cristal) from Tronox Limited (NYSE:TROX) for $700 million.
Cristal’s North American business includes two-plants located at the Ashtabula Ohio (US) complex. The deal forms the proposed remedy package submitted to the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by Tronox ahead of its proposed acquisition of Cristal’s global titanium dioxide business.
The proposed sale of the North American business to INEOS, has received support from Cristal and Tronox’s North American customers and will make INEOS the second largest producer of this essential product in the country. The wider transaction and remedy proposal is subject to clearance by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Ashley Reed, CEO of INEOS Enterprises said, “This is a great opportunity for INEOS to enter the pigments market, by acquiring a competitive business, with excellent people and assets. INEOS has a strong track record of manufacturing excellence, running its businesses safely and reliably and working closely with customers to meet their growth aspirations.”
Titanium dioxide is a white pigment found in a wide range of applications from paints and varnishes as well as paper and plastics. It is the most widely used white pigment because of its brightness. Pigment applications include printing inks, fibres, rubber, cosmetic products, glass and ceramics. The global titanium dioxide market is highly competitive, with players competing based on price, quality or product, technical service, and the availability of high-performance pigments.

Relevant to advfn info dig3 concluded his post 6418 on 25 May by saying: ..... he [Scott] has offloaded 7,000,000 shares without informing the market ... I have followed RED for over three years, or CCE as it was in 2015. dig3 is simply wrong on Scott having sold shares as his 2014 holding of 11,973,126 shares referred to by dig3 was Scotts holding AFTER the exercise of 7,000,000 options in Feb 2015 (ref: 2014 Annual Report which clearly shows the holding at 11,973,126 shares on 30/04/2015). I will leave it to others to comment on whether dig3 posted his conclusion from a position of ignorance or to deramp. I have always found Scott to be honourable. Note he made the fundraising at 8p open to all shareholders although there was a cost to the company to do this. Today
