If I interpret your question correctly:
It was originally expected that last year's dividend would be 7p paid as 1.75 x 4 quarters. That was then changed to 1,1,1,4 to reflect uncertainty and timing of tax credits. That was then changed to 1,1,1,1 with the remaining 3p later this year.
This has now changed to the 3p being referred to as a 'special dividend'! Not only that, without explicitly saying, it looks like the June 2025 quarter dividend is being skipped so this year will be 0,0.75,0.75,0.75 ie 2.25p, a far cry from 7p and a very low yield compared to that which many people bought for.
