They can’t do a fundraise because the share price is less than the nominal share value.

Remarkably for the last two years the PI have had the opportunity to get rid of Ian Gilliam as the chairman who is presided over this company decline for years not to mention the other useless board members yet for some reason he was voted back in. So if you want to know who’s responsible, just look at yourself in the mirror!

Curious that the company would issue an R.N.S saying that the share price decline has to do with discussions on this forum board but they don’t point out the fact that the share price decline might be related to the fact that they never sell anything and they issued a trading update indicating that they’re pretty much out of cash and don’t really know where new money is coming from next.

Dude you don’t know what you’re talking about. If you had invested in ANY gdr fundraise you could have cashed out afterwards for profit. The only ones that lost money are those that invested outside of fundraises and bet on jam tomorrow.

You cannot issue shares below the nominal value which here is 1.5p so good luck with the fundraise.

Jimmy - a valid observation is that all of those hospitals are under the control of one decision maker, with the exception of Peterborough. Which means in the last three years gdr have been able to convince two nhs decision makers to do this test. It’s remarkable that their commercial team has not been fired. Maybe this is just the case of someone that invented an interesting product that nobody wants. Wouldn’t be the first time.

Surely there must be some leaky bad news. the price has been stable for so long. If something bad pops out in the next day or 2 you know someone's been up to no good.

I think that the idea that they only raised 1 million and are waiting for news so they can raise something bigger is absolute rubbish. The reality is that there was no money on the market to raise which is why Peel Hunt had to reach into its pocket and they’re only coming to PI for 250 K meanwhile directors themselves put in the absolutely zero. The last point is a reason not to invest if ever there was one

The problem is you have concluded the 500k comes to Genedrive which it does not it goes to the sites that are doing the testing to pay for their extra costs. genedrive will only get the cost per test. Typical gdr smokescreen. The nihr website says the funding is to pay for

staff costs,

travel, subsistence and conference fees

equipment (including lease versus purchase costs)

consumables ( Genedrive test)

patient and public involvement, engagement and participation

other direct costs

dissemination costs

indirect costs

Ridiculous. Raise a £1M, pay 250K in fees to lawyers and advisors just to do it again in 6 weeks? Nonsense conclusion. The simple fact is they can't raise money.
