Probably thought the October date is a final publication date and like aihl there will be a public consultation process so we could end up seeing the draft recommendations well before then maybe in July or August.. just a thought
Now announcing they don’t have enough money to stay afloat and shares have been suspended.
GDR moves quick because there are only 90M shares in issue. some days it trades 10-30% of its volume YGEN has BILLIONS of shares and the days of anything that big being fast moving are long gone. Lynns LinkedIn post is indicative of a bloke that doesn't hold a mirror up to his face and see reality he's totally in denial. he'll be losing his house soon after all the cash he deliriously put into the company

“unprecedented growth” - negative growth. Certainly unprecedented.
“Last point of accountability”. Should be the first point.
“ it’s a careful dance” apparently.
“ I want to create a culture where it’s safe to fail”. Check. Job done.
The guy has cheek.
looking at alternatives doesn't mean there isnt a raise. It means theyd look at alternatives. The alternatives might not be good value. they might be too expensive. They may not be there at all. If there is a raise, I can buy at a discount so dont see the problem. saying there wont be a raise has no basis in fact.
Dr just tweeting on a personal account. NHS would have to give permission for Co to do an RNS and they’re unlikely to do that. Co doesnt even put distributors on the website because on the Pi pile ons that happened with Beckmann.
Dr Praveen Kishore from university hospital sussex posted “Proud to soon be amongst the first few neonatal units in the UK to be going live with the @genedriveplc at our TMBU neonatal unit @UHSussex. Glad to know about the recommendation from @NICEComms”. This NICE stuff means something - theyre going live. I didn’t see anyone post this but from the 10th.
venturing on here to see what sort of wisdom has darkened our door today.
Why all the speculation about a fundraise? The company already said they would do one. The great thing now is there’s fuel in rockets and the discount shouldn’t be too bad and the dilution is minimised by the higher share price. a loan in my book is a bad idea. It will be a convertible like they had with GHIF and that hung over them for years.
I’m looking forward to my 7am RNS pint promised by CrudeTrader, who said he called NICE yesterday and there would be no news on the EVA till 30 March. Moral of the story - the pharma world is complex so don’t take your stock tips on this board from people that spend most of their their time commenting on speculative oil drilling and mining. They are pumpers and dumpers, which is what AIM drilling is all about. Fantastic news from Genedrive.
So much uninformed stuff gets posted on this board. I wonder whether people don’t genuinely understand this industry , or whether it’s all misdirection and deliberate to cause confusion. It’s more make up your own research than dyor.
What crudetrader says is wrong, and I see no truth in the comment that he called NICE. Why can’t Al get though but crude can?
You can’t have a consultation on your conclusions unless people know what your conclusions are. That’s why it’s published tomorrow as consult begins. Yes, they won’t be final, but the decision will be there. NICE public consultations can be relevant when NICE denies funding for some new very expensive drug that doesn’t work very well, and the parents patients and families affected can protest at the decision. Who’s going to argue against saving a baby’s hearing?
tomorrow is RNS day as NICE states on their website that’s the timing for consultation process, so they must release all their conclusions publicly tomorrow so we know what to consult about. First thing? Mid day? Probably random timing of when someone hits the upload button. Then final decision a week after 21 Feb? https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance/indevelopment/gid-dg10057
nissangtr786, Budd lined up two of the largest diagnostic companies in the world - they’re the ones that didn’t get commercial traction. Was it timing? Was it lack of chain of command in big pharma to their reps? Who knows. But had it flown, everyone would have thought him a star. 30% of us wanted him gone 4 weeks ago and now stock had run over 200% and people are booking their hols. There’s little perspective on this board. It’s a big world, gdr is a small co, they need some luck with market timing.
