That logic then would apply to every fundraise for any company…. And thats why companies offer a discount on their offer price to ensure the money comes their way. I’d be VERY surprised if the GDR offer is fully subscribed given the history and volatility of the share price.

SaintPeter it is you that does not understand numbers it was only 0.2p post announcement of potential dilution and then returned to 0.6p once the fundraiser was cancelled by DN. So it was never 0.2p by virtue of real share dilution. And if you’re now excited by 0.9p give your head a shake, please explain to me what’s going to happen in the next 12 weeks when funding again runs out?

The bod already said they didn't have ANY other forms of funding available, so why do you think a 2 month bridging loan is going to change anything? and when this alternative funding shows up you somehow thing you're not getting massively diluted? GDR had secured funding for 12 months (with massive dilution which is always going to happen when your shares are virtually worthless) but at least it gave 12 months to try to steady the ship and allow commercialisation time. What happened here is some guy that none of us know (who also goes by the name AMERS btw) has endeared himself to another crowd of nameless and unknown people in a boilerroom chat forum, and stolen all the company's IP from us for £1M.

Actually what DN did was prevent GDR from getting proper funding that would have allowed them to operate and commercialise for a year, took our IP, and put them on short funding leash of 2 months. Disaster.

The way I see it is that DN has managed to secure all of the companies intellectual property for £1 million. By the way, he took this all away from private investor ownership without asking us. What exactly do you we own now anyways?

This whole thing is a joke.

On the assumption of the company has actually exercised the loan that he offered, they have no means to repay it because they do not have the revenue and hence profit to pay him back. Remember that jayne Drive is burning about £400,000 per month which means they would need revenue about £1.2 million per month to generate that much profit. They are years away from being anything like that even if the product took off. So once they run out of cash in three months, what on earth is next? And when DN finds out that his intellectual property isn’t worth very much because everything that gdr does is actually just insider knowledge they don’t hold any patents at all, that’s that. . Once the key staff leave, they’ll be nothing left on that will be the end of it.

You have to have 12 months of cash available in order to be considered a going concern from an accounting perspective. There’s sometimes a little bit of wiggle room with auditors where you can show that you are about to do a fundraise or something like that that gets you to 12 months. However, GDR has three months and there’s zero chance in auditor would ever sign off on that. Basically, the government rule is there so that they are not sending money to accompany that’s about to go out of business. Itsdesigned to protect taxpayers.

So what is the collateral Genedrive puts up against £1 million loan? We already know that it’s only three months of burn and there’s no way that they can generate profit in just three months to pay DN back, so It’s guaranteed they’ll default. the only thing GDR has to offer as collateral is shares, which means that DN would end up owning all of the company for £1 and all of the PI will end up getting nothing. I’m not aware of anything that said he has the financial capability to actually then run the company once the million pounds is exhausted so basically the whole thing goes tits up. Which is why the company would be foolish to entertain any offer from the guy.

So the company had 14 months of funding in place to allow it to commercialise products and it was rejected by private investors. Now some random guy is offering £1 million which would see them for three months which is no runway to commercialised anything and the company will be back in the begging bowl. Disaster.

They both showed up here at the same time. Not suggesting that there’s a connection between the two is naive. The reality is that stupid people make stupid investments as a result of the post that are on here. This is market manipulation of the highest order.

Because people here thought they were being clever and there could be a better option on table. If they come back with the same again, it’s that or nothing.

I think what will happen next is we’ll find mr nugent will have cashed out and the bod will come back with the same fundraising offer to pis and if we dont take it the company will go bust. They’ve already said there are no other credible sources while also saying mr nugent isn’t credible.
