Most recent RNS referred to AI. It's fashionable of course, could even be 'the future'.
Why would this morning see what's probably a record number of trades, linked with an 8% rise in SP? Is there something obvious that I'm just not seeing please?

Have to say there's been talk of Premier being sold quite a lot over the years, but recent posts on LSE hit the nail on the head for me: picking up Nissin's shareholding would be an easy way to get a foot in the door, but would they sell?
Fact is, Premier Foods is in better shape now than it has been for many years, with better prospects too. I live in hope!
Once delisted, it seems to me the only way of trading IBPO shares will be by happening upon someone who wants to buy or sell from/to you, or more likely, you contact the CoSec to notify of your interest.
With no listing, this could still work if you believe this is a business that has a good future. For many years I have held shares in an unquoted profitable business. Each year I get a small dividend and I understand that my shares are worth quite a bit more than I paid for them. Of course they aren't in a SIPP or ISA so I pay income tax on the dividend and would if I sold them pay on any capital gain.
Maybe some brave PIs will want to hold their current shares.
One has to reflect on the fact that not so long ago, the board created a plan that dished out vast sums to themselves, in return for stunning SP growth. Many of us, buoyed by their confidence , will have bought into the Boohoo dream.
Over time, we came to realise those targets weren’t going to be reached. Fast forward to now, when the board decided to create a new award scheme for themselves. Well this time, many if us aren’t so impressed.
Bye bye Boohoo.
Whatever the thoughts about GB, surely the focus for PI’s now is on mitigating losses: that means get out, stick, or buy. A sad time for something that has looked so promising and credible. Plan to just sit back for a while now.
