Canaries
I had planned to retire early at the end of March 2000 as it had gone ridiculously well from January to February - had even planned to move to Netherlands to take advantage of favourable capital gains and then to USA (even picked out the house!). One of my friends, a contract cleaner with no interest in investments, rang me with a share tip! If only I'd listened to that alarm bell! You live and learn :-) Markets collapsed before mid-March. One of my friends was "lucky" as he was in a road accident at the end of February 2000 and he reluctantly sold all his holdings as he couldn't keep an eye on them from a hospital bed. He was glad he did a couple of weeks later...
Canaries
Agreed - although I've taken some money off the table as per PRIM thread I still expect great things from RL and the new board. I just have a slight sense of deja vu with the markets at the moment - reminds me a little of the Jan to Mar 2000 period and dot.com fever (replace that with Bitcoin and resources this time around). I have also recently had clients telling me they're going to "invest" in surefire cryptocurrency plays and stocks and traditionally that's been a red flag of a market getting to its top (when the uninitiated start to pile in with retail money...).
Agreed Canaries - I was between 1.5% and 2% up to yesterday and shed a few as I felt I was topheavy in this one - couldn't be more glad that I've transferred them to Rupert as it makes my remaining holding worth even more in my opinion.
Glengarth - the other point about this Evrensel outfit keeping hold of their money and not stumping up the subscription is that they were also engaged on the other side as advisors to Truspine with a fee structure in the event of them carrying out certain transactions.
How can you trust such a company to represent you in negotiations? If Truspine is not going to get the money from them why not terminate the agreement due to breach of contract?
Confirmed - buys going through at 32p
lordfurlong96 - judging by some of the recent comments here some had bought this to get exposure to Greatland Gold (GGP) similar to many investors in Starvest (SVE) and, once the PRIM's remaining holding was sold these PIs sold out of PRIM and went into GGP or SVE to continue the ride.
I'm certain that the company has a much more shareholder focused direction to it now but it will probably need buyers in their droves or a series of positive announcements to shift it in the very short term.
Looking into the new year (apart from any new investments) this could come from:
Truspine - FDA clearance is expected in Q1 2021, following which initial commercial production, marketing and early adopter surgical training will commence. I know we don't have much invested here but it could be rerated if taken out by one of its largest competitors. Not just wishful thinking - they had some analysis of the multiples achieved from spinal technology companies being snapped up.
Engage - may be bought out by a larger player before too long. It's on a path towards breakeven and funded for the next 24 to 36 months.
Zuuse - we've got a lot of these with the options as well. Looks a good investment and if I recall correctly there is a secondary market for these shares so there might be options to partial offload at a significant profit as the need arises.
SOA Energy & Nomad Energy - wouldn't surprise me if our BoD tries to get shot of these at the earliest opportunity.
Infusion 2002 Limited was part of the capital reconstruction in 2009 and was treated as discontinued operations (2010 accounts page 28)
LtdAxis, did you see the date that the director signed the accounts on page 3? :-)
Those "sells" at the end for 26.277 are buys - mine's one of them!
It's reporting a message "We are unable to trade this security as there is no KID/KIID document available" when trying to trade BRSD but not another stock.
RKB, absolutely agree.
At the risk of dividing an entire BB, I heard this version live a couple of years ago and you could have heard a pin drop...

Sujood - look at confirmation of resolutions passed..
Resolution 1: to consolidate every 200 Existing Ordinary Shares into one New Ordinary Share and to subdivide each Ordinary Share arising on the Share Consolidation into one New Ordinary Share and one Deferred Share
Greg17 - interesting question.
If I was leaving a company where the major shareholder had promised small director salaries and he already held 18.36% of the shares I would be happy to see how the investments I had made for the company would pan out, at least in the short term. He’s only just made investments in Zuuse and PRIM still seems incredibly undervalued. Selling down now IMHO would be leaving the party before it got going...
It wouldn’t surprise me if there was a quick profitable exit from Zuuse in a few months time that that might be the cue for him to close out...
The expert gets sworn in before the court today, but his report should be completed in 3 to 4 months (according to the video interview link below...)
