I posted yesterday that the Open Offer shares I took up are showing in my account but are not active. i.e. I can't trade them. I have now had a response from my broker and they say they have not received them yet from the issuing broker. Has anybody else had this issue or am I being spun a load of waffle? I'm told they should receive them on Monday.

I subscribed to the Open Offer in 2 separate accounts with different brokers. On both accounts the shares have been credited to my account but they are not 'active' i.e. I can't trade them. Does anybody else have the same situation?I have contacted the brokers but am waiting a reply.

LT - if the shenanigans on Brexit are anything to go by I'm not sure sadly we are living in a democracy anymore.

pCloud - don't know which screen you're looking at but I've just had a quote for 0.29 - 0.32 so it's definitely not 7% down!

mcadder - I agree with your stance and most of what you say. I am still puzzled why there was such a heavy discount on the last placing ( share price was over 0.5p at the time) given that the amount raised was pretty small. I have been in since Oct 16 so my average is just over 0.4p but I just hope the placing and OO price are not signs of desperation. Prepared to hang in to see how things develop.

mcadder - the trouble is we have heard all this before and look where we are now. I really thought things would change when GS took over but it's looking unlikely.

Cobrakai - I agree. I have just sent an email to Simon outlining my deep concerns about the way shareholders are being treated. Particularly I have asked him despite all the promises what has all the previous placing proceeds been spent on. It intrigues me that GTW is now ' flavour of the month' but for the last 2 years we have been promised progress on recovering stranded assets with no mention of GTW. What's happened to that strategy?
I have also expressed my outrage at the sequence of the recent announcements. Why wasn't the placing announced before the tie up with Marnavi? Surely that would have been more in shareholders interests.
I have left him no doubt that patience is now running very thin with this company and things have to change.

Royscot - I agree. I have been invested here for almost 3 years and up till now been prepared to believe we were on the cusp of some ' transformational' news. If the money raised in previous placings has not been used to further marginal deals what has it been used for? And why have we not been told what it has been used for? There was no mention in GS's statement today about marginal deals.
I genuinely feel we have been very badly misled and will certainly not be investing any more money in this company.
All we ask for is some transparency and truth instead of all the smoke and mirrors. I really did think we had turned a corner when GS was appointed but it doesn't look like it.

I don't disagree with that but you rather ridiculously seemed to be suggesting that everything posted on the other board has been true. I would suggest you give up reading bulletin boards if you really believe that.

Really? I seem to remember predictions on there including: the company's delisting ; the company's going bust ; there will be a placing next week ( that's been repeated for a year!); Simon will have resigned by February 2019.
I could go on and on - so if you think that's calling it right. God help you.
