IMHO, It's clear that the relationship remains strong, and it's business as usual. I must admit that I just don't understand some of the comments made over the past few months about the relationship, as if either party shouldn't be taking care of their own interests. I think that Shaun Day has already made it pretty clear, in releasing our own MRE update, that he's not a soft touch when it comes to taking care of GGP shareholders.

The capital markets team at law firm Gowling WLG has advised Canaccord Genuity and Sprott as joint bookrunners on mining development and exploration company Greatland Gold PLC's US$35 million cashbox placing. The proceeds of the placing will be primarily used for the continued development of Greatland's Havieron project in conjunction with its joint venture partner, Newcrest Mining.

The team from Gowling WLG that provided advice in relation to the transaction was led by corporate partner Charles Bond, supported by principal associate Alex Davidson and associate Abby Parkin.

Charles said: "We are very pleased to have assisted Canaccord and Sprott in completing such a successful fundraise for their client."

It's not about sells showing as buys, or buys showing as sells, it's purely just another classic 'manipulation' by the MM's, and their mates on AIM!

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm especially (as in many, many months, if not a year, or more, of updates!) looking forwards to the next set of results and comments on, largely, growth drilling at Havieron.

You only have to read the regular comments from Paddy & Bamps, amongst others, with the likes of satellite technology, to know, at the very least, how much is actually going on for us in Greatland Gold!

You only have to read Shaun Day's positive comments in the last 'Havieron Exploration and Development Update', on the 9th June, to see what we can expect...

I think you'll find that someone has the decimal point in the wrong place. The raise achieved USD35m = approx. £29.7m.

Exceeded! Now over 120 million shares traded today! Highest level since the 210 million way back in January 2021!

Currently the volume of GGP shares traded today is standing at 111 million +/-

It's approaching the last high of 120 million on the 19th November 2021.

It wasn't offered to the public, it was an institutional placing.

Shaun Day implied that they probably would have offered this to retail as well, but they were restricted in doing that due to the £8m limit, per 12 months, without prospectus. It was the last placing, available to retail, that prevented it this time.

So, you missed the last placing, which was available to retail, in November last year?

It was yesterday, before the placing, but Berenberg reiterated GGP 'Buy', with 22p Price Target.

Greatland Gold PLC (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF) said it raised about £30mln (US$35mln) via an oversubscribed placing to fund the development of ongoing licenses.

The placing, at a price of 8.2p per ordinary share, will accelerate drilling at the Havieron deposit and grow the wider resource alongside joint venture partner Newcrest Mining Ltd.

The group will also use the funds to undergo exploration activities at the company’s 100%-owned licenses to target new Havieron-like discoveries in the Paterson region, it said in a statement...

Indeed! The legacy issues are all now behind us and the path forwards is now significantly clearer, which is great, IMHO, and for the markets too, and exactly what Shaun Day wanted as well!
