Why did we get to well over that sp before then?!

The 'market', as you call it, and especially AIM, is not, and never has been, purely based on facts & figures. It's more likely to be based on sentiment!

That is exactly why, IMHO, with even one new big hit in any of our other Paterson tenements, but, especially 100% owned, we could well see a massive, and I mean massive uplift in the SP, to well over 30p.

Personally, I expect well over 20p later this year, based on Havieron alone.

Without knowing exactly what the issues are, and which side could be right, or wrong, in this dispute, it's good to know that Western Australia remains one of the highest rated regions in the world for 'Investment Attractiveness', according to the latest Fraser Institute Annual Survey of Mining Companies 2022.

Western Australia ranks 2nd out of 62 countries, and Mexico ranks, below mid-field, at 37 out of 62 countries.

As for the man himself, I particularly liked it when he stated the following in his interview with Liam:

"...we're looking for a plus 5-million-ounce deposit. Because really, we know with Greatland’s dynamic, it was always about not just finding 100,000 ounces or even a million ounces. It was always about finding deposits that were actually going to shift the needle for even a major player on the planet. So, we're always striving to find big deposits in fertile areas. And that that's the logic behind exploration in the Paterson and exploration at Ernest Giles.

So, we're looking for plus 5-million-ounce deposits and they have a certain fingerprint and using certain exploration techniques, you should be able to detect whether they, whether you whether they're present in that terrain or not. And I believe the work that Greatland’s done to date have ticked that box to show that there's a high probability that there's plus 5Moz worth of gold in that area."

As we all know, GGP, "...very low valuation"..."very valuable project (Havieron)", which he sees as worth "At least a billion" at this time.

Of course Greatland Gold have a say in the Havieron JV!

It's run by a 'Management Committee', which is made up of a maximun of five representatives. Newcrest is entitled to have three representatives, and Greatland is entitled to have two representatives in the committee.

I think that Vrrrooom, and his ilk, may well need at least one pair of those Halfords bicycle clips very soon now....

Could well be acechaser!

I have a feeling that a short squeeze is now increasingly on the cards, and indeed soon.

Whether it's later this week, or next, I don't think it's far off now!

And, I agree, and have stated such, ever since the Wyloo/Forrest investment. This relatively recent build up in the Greatland BOD by Shaun Day hasn't been done over some sudden whim...Just join the dots!

In todays woke society, I'm not sure if I can still say that Lenigas is probably the type of loud Oz that calls a ***** a ***** without offending somebody, but you get my drift. He tells it like it is, and, for sure I agree, he's absolutely correct when he infers that Havieron is a once, probably twice, generational discovery!

TBH, I'm no fan of Lenigas myself. However, I think he was correct when he stated, back in 2020, that Havieron, "..it's a discovery in Australia for a generation, and probably a couiple of generations...It's going to be vastly large".

Although, IMHO, loud & brash, he is a man of knowledge and, if you haven't seen this interview with Andrew Scott from September 2020 before, then it's definitely worth a listen for further research:

Evolution eyeing its next acquisition

Evolution Mining would love to add more assets to its portfolio as it expands its gold and copper growth pathways...

...And when asked about the company’s copper outlook, Evolution executive chair Jake Klein suggested there might be room for inorganic growth...

...“In our case, we are open to gold, copper-gold and copper opportunities with the proviso that it needs to be accretive to shareholders and it needs to improve the quality of our portfolio.

“Rather than giving you a direction as to whether copper is now a higher priority than gold or gold-copper, it’s not, they’re all equal priorities. We’d love to get more assets subject to us being able to buy them wholesale and to value them as retail assets.”

Personally I very much doubt it, everything else being equal, but, if it does, I'll be topping up again, as much as I possibly can, as I did @ 6.78p a few weeks ago.

Jupiter sold their 10,352,468 shareholding in their Jupiter Merian Global Equity Absolute Return Fund some time ago, which is what I believe you may b referring to. They subsequently bought significantly more, namely 75, 397,359 shares, in their Jupiter Gold & Silver Fund.

"Despite the prolonged increases in global interest rates to stem inflationary pressures, we continue to believe that the effects of expansionary monetary policies, continued fiscal stimulus and geopolitical tensions favour a positive outlook for gold and precious metals in the longer term."

Callum Baxter's latest comments on their largest shareholding, Greatland Gold:

"....During the last six months, Greatland Gold (LON:GGP), which makes up substantially the largest part of our portfolio value, advanced its Paterson projects. Havieron, a joint venture with Newcrest Mining, continued to increase the resource base at the project through surface drilling, and decline development has accelerated over the period; a definitive feasibility study is expected before the end of calendar 2023. During May 2023, Havieron joint venture partner Newcrest Mining accepted a US$19.1 billion buyout offer from the world's largest gold miner, Newmont. We believe this will bring a positive new dynamic to the Paterson project area over the coming months. Greatland is also concentrating on early-stage exploration targets within its other licences and has reported significant drill results in 100%-owned Rudall tenement, as well as strong mineralisation pathfinders at 100%-owned Scallywag, and a new joint venture agreement with Rio Tinto allowing Greatland to explore an additional 1,884sq km of prospective terrain in the Paterson region."
