I'm going off the latest research, like S&P Global, which states that Copper is essential in the windings of electric vehicle motors, as well as in transformers and the cabling necessary to build out a nationwide electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

According to the research, electric vehicles require two and a half times as much copper as an internal combustion engine vehicle. It also states that copper demand will double to 50,000,000 metric tons annually by 2035, more than all the copper consumed in the world between 1900 and 2021.

Indeed! However, without going into actual numbers, I can't see it being much longer before we see a significant re-rate in the sp.

The good thing is that, specifically with regards Copper, just like the gold, it's long term supply. As Shaun Day stated back in January:

"There's a huge amount of narrative out there that copper should at some point have a breakout year, and I think we should celebrate that. We have very meaningful exposure to that. And all of it is long term exposure and all of it is in a tier one jurisdiction. And the longevity of that exposure is really good because we don't have to pick the cycle. We will go

through the cycle two or three times with this asset. There will be times when everyone in the world will want to be a copper gold producer, and there will be times when not everyone will want to be, but we will get to experience that, and that's where mine life is incredibly advantageous."

The GGP growth catalysts are clearly all lining up, in a smart line, and also increasingly compressed in the growth timeline.

The additional 'Icing(s) on the cake' are yet undetermined, but, IMHO, more likely now than not, in probably the biggest growth areas in the world for M&A activity, and potential new major finds.

Basically, if you snooze, you'll probably lose! And there are a whole load of snoozers out there, who, IMHO, will soon be posting the likes of, "I wish I'd got in/topped up at sub 7p"

That all said, quite frankly I'm not really concerned either way, because, IMHO, the ASX listing will bring a flood of new OZ buyers for the stock, not any sellers to speak of, and, IF a raise is required, then that would be inevitable at some future point anyway, and maybe the listing would be a better time to do it. Just my personal view. DYOR

TBH, I've heard this type of comment, often several times daily, and rightly so, from hundreds, maybe more, over the past few years, about GGP & AIM.

And, as I've also said, for some time now, IMHO, the sooner we get out of the wild west, manipulated, 'wide boy' trading AIM market, the better!

GREATLAND GOLD

While not yet an ASX stock, Greatland is in the late stages of planning its ASX IPO for later this year — with media reports that it’s planning a potential equity capital raising of AU$50 million to AU$100 million.

There are several positive ongoing developments at the gold company. Greatland has transferred management of the Juri Joint Venture to partner Newcrest, freeing it up to focus more on its 100%-owned portfolio and its new responsibilities at the Rio Tinto Joint Venture.

This exploration farm-in and joint venture covers a highly prospective area close to flagship Havieron, with the project considered to have striking similarities to both Havieron and nearby legacy mine Telfer. Drilling has commenced under a two-stage farm-in agreement.

The Newmont-Newcrest merger also raises possible implications; Greatland has a 30% economic interest in Havieron, while Newcrest controls the remaining 70%. A definitive feasibility study is ongoing, with both parties expecting to use Telfer as the processing plant subject to a decision to mine.

Greatland Gold shares have fallen substantially from their record high of 37p in December 2020 to circa 7p today. However, the IPO alongside JVs with two majors could leave the gold stock oversold.

Yet another clear tick on the ongoing de-risking of the project. So many other growth catalysts are also now due in an increasingly compressed time line!

Apart from Havieron, we hold 100% of some of the most potentially lucrative tenements in the Paterson region, together with our latest J/V agreements. which is increasingly, indeed, exponentially now, started over a very short period, but now becoming one of the most wanted 'peg' sites globally now.

IMHO, any approach made now on Greatland Gold, would result in one of the biggest bidding wars seen in Australian gold mining, or, indeed, global gold mining history.

Seriously! If anyone actually believes that our true value, not manipulated for some time now, is around 8p + the usual takeover premiums, you're living on another planet to me!

Indeed! As Alastair Ford stated recently in his Proactive piece, "Because one thing Greatland can now say with absolute justification is that it’s perhaps the leading exploration specialist focussed on the Paterson. And given that the Paterson is yielding some of the most interesting gold and copper-gold discoveries anywhere in the world at the moment, that’s a useful claim to be able to make."

As for Rio buying out Greatland Gold, I'm sure that they won't be the only company interested, by any means whatsoever. However, the question wil be, can they afford us?!
