Sorry, but general business, especially in one of the biggest M&A activities, ever, globally, in the gold/copper industry, is not a simple timeline! It's a constantly changing picture.

Personally, although a lot of people/investors would like it, I don't expect, and wouldn't expect, the minutae of what's going on in the background to be published by the BOD, as it's, IMHO, no doubt, largely sensitive material.

That said, I have no issue with those views, that i disagree with! We're all welcome to our own view's. I just disagree, vehemently, with some on here, which are probably from people with no experience of running a company under these exceptional circumstances.

For goodness sake, give it at least 5 minutes, or you really will look totally stupid, as you have today!

Newcrest Mining has completed electric vehicle trade-off studies for its Cadia and Havieron mining operations, and begun a hybrid haul dump loader trial as a potential transition technology.

Newcrest will also implement an electric road train trial at Telfer and has begun planning for a second electric light vehicle trial at Cadia. The company is also progressing wind resource monitoring for inclusion in the Telfer/Havieron renewables concept study.

Newcrest continues to work on Scope 3 emissions, developing approaches to mitigate and adapt as the industry transitions to a lower-carbon future.

Imperial Metals Corp. (III-TSX) has raised $16.8 million from a private placement of 7.0 million common shares priced at $2.40 a share. Proceeds are earmarked for the operation and development at the company’s Red Chris copper-gold mine in British Columbia.

The company said the participation of the company ‘s biggest shareholder Murray Edwards, and directors and officers of Imperial accounted for 60.8% of the proceeds from the placement.

Edwards purchased 3.5 million shares for $8.4 million, while the directors and officers bought 753,000 shares for $1.8 million....

...Imperial formed a joint venture with Australian partner Newcrest Mining Ltd. [NCM-TSX] at the Red Chris mine in March 2019, after agreeing to sell a 70% stake in the mine to Newcrest, a company that is set to be acquired by Newmont Corp. [NGT-TSX, NEM-NYSE]. The partnership aimed to leverage Newcrest’s technical expertise in block caving operations.

Imperial has said the Red Chris Block Cave feasibility study is expected to be completed in the second half of 2023. It said several optimization opportunities to unlock further value are being assessed as part of the feasibility study, including options for the initial extraction level of the first block cave and alternative plant expansion options...

ARV (ASX) closed up 31% today, so I'd have thought that ARV (AIM) would have some more legs yet. Maybe later, or Monday?

Good grief tigg, surely not again? How many times do you need to make exactly the same point? As always, with respect, It really is getting beyond tedious now.

It's just one persons view, and one that he's promulgated forever.

All miners costs are up, as are just about every industry's costs. However, when it comes to the FS early next year, IMHO we'll more than likely be in a deflationary period, with costs falling. What's more, any higher costs will, again IMHO, be offset by higher gold prices anyway.

Well, that's my view!

Totally agree! The current sp is ridiculous for what we have, in tenements alone, including the Paterson, which is one of the most valuable 'real estate' areas in the world right now for valuable mineralisation.

As always though, most people just don't get it, but you can guarantee, that the biggest moan later on, will be the likes of, "I just wish I'd bought in at xx p, when I had the chance! Nothing changes!

Looks like the usual AIM games being played, but, regardless, we all know that the current sp is ludicrously cheap, in the extreme, for what we own in tenements alone, with a new drilling programme to start imminently.

Definitely some buyers out there. I just did a 1M dummy sell and no issue with getting an offer, which is normally difficult on the main platforms.

Having dropped back to the low/mid $1880's a couple of weeks ago, we've seen a steady tick up in the POG to just below $1950 today.

Will it be sustained? Is this the big one that many have forecasted?

Who know's, but, although limited rises/falls generally don't tend to have much of an effect on the (manipulated IMHO!) GGP sp, a significant rise surely would...
