@ aim999 Please 100% clarify this for everyone. Are you actually a shareholder in GGP?
@ loftmonkey57, I've never quite understood your investment strategy, especially when you, "...bought big recently when the SP was rising and the MRE was imminent"? Why didn't you buy earlier, when the sp was beow the likes of 6-7p?
...Just breached $2065...
I agree with many of these views about future catalysts for the SP, but I'm also increasingly bullish about the next few weeks, especially if the gold price continues north, as I beleive it will. As I posted in another thread, Middelkoop believes that many juniors have hit the bottom, as does Archer. Middelkoop believes a recovery is imminent.
As always, only time will tell, but there are several factors now all coming into play at the same time. Hopefully any shorters will be caught out, and forced to buy back sooner than many think. However, add to that the other catalysts due next year, plus the 'usual' sp moves north in the sector, in the 12 months running up to production, and my gut feeleing is that we're at, or near the bottom now...
"2024 may be a time for a more measured strategy. Consider Sovereign Metals, Amaroq Minerals, Kodal Minerals, Greatland Gold, ARC Minerals, Golden Metal — where the upside is now strong, the investment case is compelling, but the risk is mitigated through various channels...."

Just below $2065 now....
It'll be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks....Middelkoop believes that the larger companies and some of the juniors will bottom out "around Christmas", and that there'll be a "strong recovery in the last week of December and the first part of 2024"...

Berenberg Bank reiterated their buy rating on shares of Greatland Gold in a report released on Thursday morning (21st December).
They currently have a GBP 19.00 (USD 0.24) price objective on the stock.
Frustrating, yes! But anyone in GGP has been frustrated after just about every positive RNS for years now. It's one day in the life of Havieron, which is further looking to be one of the, if not the biggest gold/copper mother lode in a generation, or more. The FACTS are there!
I don't remenber any real rise immediately after a positive RNS for some considerable time, because the sp is manipulated, and continues to be. However, the shorters have to buy back at some stage, and can't hold back facts, like the further update yesterday.
POG breached the $2050 level again earlier today, hitting $2055. Currently @ $2051...
Really Dip! Have you got nothing better to do! ;-)
Thanks so much for this, and all the transcriptions this year! Wishing you and all a very Happy Christmas! TT
@ aim999, Absolutely no concern to me. The last update we made independently, also via the well respected, SRK Consulting, was within a hair breadth of the later Newcrest Mining update.
I believe that Shaun Day met with Newmont in the past week, or so, and it was obviously discussed, and I'm as certain as I can be that Newmont will probably publish almost identical, or close to identical figures, with their next updates. Possibly even better, since I would assume that we've been reasonably conservative too,
This is so important too!
"Another promising aspect of this update is the definition of the Link Zone, between the Eastern Breccia and main Havieron Breccia; whilst previously interpreted as separate domains, we have now confirmed mineralisation is continuous and the breccias are now defined as a singular continuous Breccia domain."
Havieron! It just keeps giving!

Hello! OPEN AT DEPTH! Haven't heard that for some time....
"...The high grade South East Crescent Zone Mineral Resource is now defined over a 1,200 vertical metres (another 200 metres deeper than in the March 2022 MRE update) and remains open at depth...."
Havieron! It keeps giving!
Estimated Mineral Resources (including Ore Reserves) increased to 8.4Moz AuEq1 (7.0Moz Au plus 275kt Cu), an increase of 1.9M oz AuEq1 from Greatland's 2022 Mineral Resource Estimate:
- 29% increase in total gold equivalent content to 8.4M oz AuEq1.
- 28% increase in total gold content to 7.0M oz Au.
§ Continuous mineralisation confirmed between the Eastern Breccia and main Havieron Breccia domains with the definition of a new high grade "Link Zone".
§ Drilling since Greatland's previous Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) update in March 2022 targeted the lower portion of the mineral system and has increased the ounce per vertical metre (OPVM) profile of these lower levels in line with the upper levels of the deposit. The updated MRE now averages 7,900 OPVM (gold equivalent) over the top 1,000 metres vertically.
§ The MRE update includes a 32% increase in contained gold equivalent metal in the higher confidence Indicated MRE category, which can now be considered in the updated Ore Reserve Estimate that will be part of the Feasibility Study.

Bamps posted on the 13th December, "Camp site is now empty at EG".
Obviously early days, but it all adds further to the multiplicity of possibilities in the area, especially for Telfer, and the various Newmont, Greatland, Rio, and other J/V's in the area.
