Of course no wish to glorify anything here, but, the fact remains, a great deal of Tungsten is used in the manufacture of armaments, and we own one of the largest deposits in the world. In fact the British Geological Survey stated in 2011 that O'Callaghan's could become the largest tungsten mine in the world, accounting for over 7% of the world output.

Tungsten prices have surged about 557% over the past year to roughly US$ 2,250 dollars per metric ton unit on the main European benchmark, hitting record highs and vastly outpacing other metals.

...and it'd be far, far worse if we didn't have the options in place. Just to add that that's an average. When we started purchasing the options it was struck at A$ 3,905/oz for CY25, and then at A$ 4,200/oz for CY26, then A$5,000/oz for CY27 Q1, and AS$ 5,200/oz CY27 Q2. As I say, I'm sure we'll extend those further too.

We have a continued strategy of downside gold price protection via those put options, while retaining full upside exposure (225,004oz from January 2026 to June 2027; weighted average strike A$4,500/oz). I'm pretty sure that Shaun Day will extend those too, as part of that policy. Yes, they obviously cost, but with over A$1 billion in the bank now, it's a relatively small risk investment.

I get what you're saying Irish, and I've always agreed with the policy, but we're way off that yet. Even today, at around A$ 6,800/oz, we're still around A$ 500/oz above the sales average gold price of A$6,301/oz in Q2 FY26, which was another record for us, and when we achieved net revenue of A$507 million and an operating cash flow of A$406 million for the quarter, delivering a closing cash balance of A$948 million, debt free.

Sure, nobody can be 100% certain of where the POG will go, but, currently at least, we're in a very good position, and with the undated MRE's due imminently too.

Yup, at A$6,900/oz it's still well above the average gold price of A$6,301/oz in Q2 FY26 (1st October - 31st December 2025) we achieved for our sales in Q2 FY26, which generated net revenue of A$507 million (including Copper) and an operating cash flow of A$406 million for the quarter, delivering a closing cash balance of A$948 million, debt free.

In fact, the Gold price, so far in Q3 FY26, hasn't dropped below A$6,451/oz, which was the price at the start, on the 2nd January, apart from the one day when we had the big correction, which actually only took us down to A$6,371/oz. Since then we've been higher on every day so far this quarter.

Hi Bamps! Am I correct in my understanding that these additions are largely to reduce/prevent the ingress of water/flood water in the rainy season?

It looks like yet another classic GGP two steps forward, one step back, and repeat day.

As far as I know, the last mention of any possible future activities at Mt. Egerton was in the 2025 Annual Report:

"Mt Egerton: 100% ownership of six exploration tenements covering an area of approximately 576km2 located approximately 230km north of Meekatharra in the Gascoyne region. During the year, key activities were negotiation of a land access agreement and preparation for on-ground reconnaissance work to commence in FY26."

I don't know if that's still the case, but it'll be interesting to see if the Benz assays give it a bit more weight.
