Still ticking up today. My gut feeling is that there's probably news soon, possibly on the Telfer handover progress. That aside, we're expecting final results too. FOMO for next week too? DYOR, etc.

The good thing is that fund managers do often tend to be sheep, or at least tend to follow the herd, so one would hope that with some of these new large institutions invested here, that others will follow too.

Final Results due imminently too. Last year they were released on the 6th November, but the previous year on the 28th October. We'll also get the Notice of AGM around the same time, I assume for an early December meeting.

Greatland Gold was the 6th highest holding (4.19%) in the CQS Golden Prospect Precious Metals Fund as at 30th September 2024:

Indeed! EG is still extremely promising, and Shaun Day is still, rightly, positive too, but, with all that's going on now, with Telfer/Havieron, and the immediate area, it's probably left on the back burner now, bar some involvement to, at least, keep the tenements with the most prospects. All IMHO!

As many of us know, Scally has always been the big 'wish', and, being 100% GGP owned, any good, not necessarily great hit, would be transformational for us, in a region which is one of the most prospective frontiers in Australia for the discovery of multi-cycle, tier-one gold/copper deposits.

We went through the Scally hypes a few years back now, which didn't help, but, as Bamps says, everyone in the company that should know, still see it as a big positive, BUT, as we all know, it usually takes a great deal of time, and money, to find the sweet spot!

Personally, although others disagree, I'm all for continuing that quest, even ahead of Ernest Giles. The main reason, now, being Telfer ownership, as I'm sure the BOD are clearly aware of too!

Yup, IMHO, that whole newspaper group appear to have a habit of taking some information, then 'sensationalising' it, by the type of wording used, then calling it an 'exclusive', but with, possibly. an agenda.

Yup, the article also states that "Greatland says it can make do with one dam at Telfer".

Unsurprisingly, as mentioned a few days ago, along with this, there's no doubt going to be more business 'bluster', from both sides, on Telfer/standalone/Hub & Spoke, etc., as we go forwards.
