Guys unfortunately I can’t post the Reddit group link as it will show my identity and as we all know we like to remain anonymous here with our nick names .
The following is from a high end investor who has taken a huge position here at 1 p after deep research and analysis. He dose not believe in chasing big rises .
As Wishbone Gold (LSE: WSBN) approaches the release of its first assay results from the Red Setter Dome Project, there is naturally heightened anticipation in the market. Recent visuals from hole 25RSDD001 confirmed a substantial breccia interval with sulphides (chalcopyrite and pyrite) extending from ~520 m to the end of hole at 777 m. Core has now been transported to Perth for cutting and analysis, with results due imminently.
It is important to frame expectations correctly. In exploration, the outcome of the first assay rarely defines the fate of the project. Breccia and intrusion-related systems are typically zoned; grades can vary considerably across different parts of the same system. As such, a modest or even disappointing initial assay does not invalidate the asset. The real test lies in follow-up holes, which are already underway and funded through the recent £1.5m raise. These step-outs are designed to evaluate continuity and to vector toward the potentially higher-grade zones.
In other words:
• Risk is not binary. A single set of assays cannot be taken as a final verdict on Red Setter.
• Downside is cushioned by multiple holes. WSBN has committed to drilling a broader program; more data points are coming.
• Upside remains considerable. Should subsequent holes return strong grade–thickness intersections, the system could quickly prove more compelling than even current visuals suggest.
From a professional perspective, this is why patience is critical in early-stage discovery plays. The geological model remains intact, the breccia system is confirmed, and further holes provide a real opportunity for stronger assays. While the share price will no doubt react sharply to the first results, longer-term investors should recognise that the overall risk to the project is lower than many might assume.
