columbo, I struggle to understand how you call a drop of 0.9 pennies or 4% as a decent day. At that rate I wouldn't want to see a bad day ! Fundamentals were mentioned earlier. As I see it now, the fundamentals are: 1 We have quite a lot of copper. 2 The copper is mostly at great depth. 3 We await the PEA, which hopefully will be based on an upgraded MRE,and then a P to see if we can afford to dig it up. I hold 70000, down from 170000 as I sold 100000 at 26 on the way down. I wouldn't be completely out in case breaking news caused a rapid rise. So hedging my bets if you like. If you wonder why the price is dropping, simply reading this board will show that the sentiment on the board is on the negative side of neutral. As I've said in a previous post, this sentiment will be the same amongst all shareholders, so likely others have been doing what I did, selling at leat some of their holding. So its nothing to do with "MM's games", it;s just the market being the market. All only my opinion, to which I'm entitled.

Satan a lot of the drivel posted on here may not be in shareholders best interests ! lol

snickster, anyone who deals based on what they read here is not playing with a fiull deck. Lurker5, your sweeping statement that PIs are not knowledgeable is not right, a few on here are. Your comment about institutional investors and brokers are correct inasmuch as they have the financial clout to perform (illegal) concerted attacks by shorting or buying. The FCA do nothing as they partly comprise ex-city wide boys who still drink with their old mates. Are you a professuinal, Lurker5, and if not why do you feel qualified to make such sweeping statements ?

earthling I am no different from many, I should have hit the sell button when the drop from 46 started, but like many on here I didn't. However having seen the SP oscillating between 21 and 27 I decided to sell some as a derisking exercise and I may buy back in when I observe a change in trend. I am also keeping an eye on GENL where I have made good profit recently and may use my available cash to re-enter there.

earthling I still hold 70000 although I sold 100000 at 26. I hope the MRE does double but there is insufficient information at the moment to predict what the revised MRE will be. My "tongue-in cheek" post was for balance since yours looked suspiciously like a ramp based on nothing, of course the key word is "may". As I said in my earlier post today, the more important factor is the PEA when we will have an idea whether it is financially viable to dig the stuff up.

And the revised resource estimate may not be close to doubling the MRE when it comes out

It is right that posts on the board have no direct influence on the SP. However this overlooks the fact that the views on this board, both positive and negative, will be the same in the wider shareholding community. In other words this board is a snapshot of overall investor sentiment. Reading this board it appears to me that sentiment is currently mixed, with a slight bias to the downside, hence the gentle slide in SP. In the absence of major news e.g. MRE upgrade for Alpala or outstanding Aguinaga results (or a bid for ENSA !) this slide may continue to a possible support at 21.5-ish. I think the lukewarm reaction to Aguinaga results is premature until we get results from several more holes.Iit seemed to me that the release of other news from Cisne Loja the day after the mediocre Aguinage results suggested an attempt to mitigate the underwhelming effect of these results. Nevertheless I remain hopeful that the PEA will be positive and should act as a spur for the SP. It needs to be based on an upgraded MRE including the results of recent infill and step-out drilling.. All only my opinion, to which I'm entitled. I hold 70,000.GLA.

I think your figure for shares in issue is wrong by a factor of 1000. If your figures were correct the market cap would be 424 thousand, I think it's 424 million.

I'm no TA expert, but 293 is the 38% Fibonacci retrace of the drop from 638 to 81, and is proving a tough nut to crack. The 50% level is 360, but 300 may be a psychological barrier too. WTFDIK !

If any of theses self-styled experts were any good, they wouldn't need to charge for their "research", they would have made millions by buying and selling according to their convictions and would be lying on a yacht in the Bahamas. I draw your attention to the the case of Lehman Brothers. They were given a "triple A" rating by the experts. Two days later they were broke. My case rests, yer honour.

Morning, thanks for all the useful links, in answer to your last night's question I was in GKP, including buying the 15 for 2 or whatever the figures were,got disillusioned with that train-wreck of a share, what with employing the MP on some ridiculous retainer and seeing absolutely zero effect of him being on board (apart from costing us money) finally lost patience with the thing and sold at a loss. Saw that Genel looked like it was making a determined move Northwards, so jumped in here. That's it really.
