Excellent guitarist elcap. I have a lovely fake Les Paul made in Japan which I bought around a year ago. A 1984 Burny Les Paul super grade in black with an ivory trim. I used to play when I was younger and I'm hoping to get into it again when I have the time.

Ah, the Ritchie Blackmore from Castleford rlfc was big Ritchie. Ritchie Blackmore, the guitar legend from deep purple/rainbow was his cousin Little Ritchie ..he wasn't much of a drinker by all accounts.

Ritchie Blackmore ... Now that's some fella. I watched a Deep Purple concert on TV recently from the 90's and he was in such a bad mood he hid behind the giant speakers for most of the songs. Great guitarist though....although I preferred his other bandmate Bungle.

He obviously has opinions but keeps these to a minimum and doesn't spout loads of guff about what might be, what could be, what should be. He posts positively and factually and relevantly.
