A bit of advice for some on here:

1. There will ALWAYS be peaks and dips on the way up with an explorer at this stage. Get used to it. Investor hype can raise the SP but it can also cause it to plunge as well if results don't match or exceed the hype. The more a share is talked up, the more likely it is to be volatile and so you should always be selling some on the way up. Holding out to sell "at the top" and make a killing is a mugs game.

2. Don't get blinkered by your own excitement (and that of others) and assume that anyone who isn't climbing the walls like a kid on Christmas eve is a deramper. To be a successful investor your need the humility to be able to read everything (even those that disagree with you) before calmly considering it dispassionately and then deciding what to do. Blindly ignoring, insulting or green binning anyone that doesn't agree with your sentiments is just stupid. Ohers are allowed their opinions every bit as equally as you are allowed yours.

3. Selling shares in a company is not "disloyal". The companies don't give a toss about you personally, they treat shareholders as a necessary part of the business that needs to be managed. If you really think that you should have loyalty to a company you are invested in then your investment strategy is wholly wrong. Investing is all about making a profit for YOU.

4. A ramper doesn't usually think they are ramping...but talking the SP up by speculative guesses based on "what you reckon" is exactly that. In fact it's way more damaging to inexperienced investors who can be carried away on it than deramping.

5. Lastly treat most of what is said on here and other boards / social media as "fluff". Read and digest the RNS's yourself. Watch all the interviews yourself. Understand the company and the business it is in. If you can't be bothered to put the time in, then you are investing at way too high a risk level and you should perhaps be investing in ETFs etc rather than individual companies.

Re the $500 million of recoverable helium, it's a nice number but the actual value in terms of shareholder value depends on the period over which it will be recovered (ie how much per year) and the cost of recovery. Does anyone have this data? I haven't seen any figures on this yet unless I have missed them somewhere along the line.

The lack of professionalism in his use of social media is highlighted by the ridiculous boxing day post of "S". Simply not acceptable for a person in his position. Is he posting while under the influence..?

Whether he is a ”high performer"or not, it doesn't give him the right to use a company that he doesn't own (we do) as a political mouthpiece for his personal views.

It IS concerning. I couldn't give two hoots if he was posting these on a personal account with no reference to GGP, but he is not. He is posting them as a representative of the company. All companies I have ever been involved in have strict guidelines as to what can and can't be posted on social accounts (no matter how senior you are) which also have references to the company. There's a good reason for it...it is damaging to the companys reputation and ultimately it's SP.

If you look back at his posts, it's been going on for months and getting worse and worse. I have tried to contact the company several times regarding it but zero response. I personally don't believe it's been hacked as there are legitimate posts mixed in between the political opinion pieces.

Is it just me or is anyone else concert about the increased number of politically motivated posts that SD is reposting ok his Twitter feed? Whether one agrees with the sentiment of the posts or not, as the head of a public listed company it's very irresponsible. Is the political stance he takes in them the stance of the company and it's other directors? If so, given the ever increasing extremist nature of them, especially the latest criticising Starmer, is very concerning. Tried contacting GGP about them but radio silence...has his account been hacked or is he just being very unprofessional?

In my long experience the market generally doesn't "miss an opportunity", it all comes down to risk level. Sure there are times when everything comes together and an SP shoots up with multiple bags, but that is because the risk level perceived by the instas and their algorithms was higher than most of them were prepared to take at the time. Investing for them (as it should be for us... but often isn't) is much more about not losing the money you've made than it is about making multiple bags.

Even when an SP seems "baked in" like it is here, it can still easily react to a bad initial drill results on a separate location if the bar of expectation has been set too high. It will eventually recover back to the "baked in" level but that can sometimes take a long time, and time equals more risk of something coming out of left field before it does.

The opportunity here is very exciting, all I am saying is if that excitement is tempered a little on boards like this, it will lead to a lot less volatility if/when something eventually doesn't go out way.

I don't post in LSE often and suspect I'll get slammed for being a deramper, but a word to the wise...there's a risk that the board is setting the SP up for a "Scallywag" style collapse. A few years ago on GGP now there was so much excitement and talk about the impending results from Scallywag that the share price thumped down when they weren't anything to shout about and then struggled to get out of it . First drill results are usually just pathfinder results and can be quite poor in terms of gold/silver etc., The geos interpret them differently to investors who are just looking for grams per metre. I've seen similar patterns on other explorers where the posters on boards get hyped up about potential stellar results coming in and subsequent bagging. It can easily turn into a sh** show and end up creating a shorters dream.

I've been in and out of OMI for many years and currently have a large holding. Like anyone, I hope for positive results from El Pantino but if they don't come in the first assays I don't want to see an SP crash, which imo a lot of the current narrative on here is at risk of leading us into.

GEO has peeked my interest due to Callum Baxter's involvement but I am a little confused as to where their main focus lies. Am I investing in a hydrocarbon explorer or a gold explorer here? I know a fair bit about the latter having traded in that area for over 15 years and can make reasonably well educated decisions but have never dipped into oil/ gas etc. Are they still as heavily involved with the Namibia and Italy projects hydrocarbon as their website would suggest or is this a pivot away from them? I assume that the current MCap value is largely reflecting the tenements they have off Namibia and Italy rather than Juno which they have only just scratched the surface of..?

Out of interest, why wasn't this put out as an RNS on LSE/AIM? Surely it's price sensitive. Probably something proceedural I'm unaware of with joint ASX listing .?

Agree...an interesting one. Quantum shares don't seem to have been affected too much by the absurd AI valuations. I think the potential upside of quantum computing is huge, but slightly scary when taken in context with AI. I see this as slowly gathering a decent pace over the next 2 to 3 years with maybe a big spike or two at some stage on transformative news.

That's how I normally do them, but for some reason GGP won't update beyond the consolidation price back in June. All other shares on the sheet are updating fine. Resorted to just doing a multiple by 20!

Does anyone else use Excel to pull in share price data? - I haven't been able to get GGP to update to the new consolidated price. Still just shows price from June 2025 even after refresh..?

What I lost track of (after giving up on this one) was how the MCap seemed to stay about the same whilst the SP tanked ~99%..?
