At the end of the day any sane investor here will have done their due diligence, understand the company and shrug things like this off. I let the strength of my research of the fundamentals of a company lead my decisions rather than what anyone else says or doesn't say whether they are part of this board, the Twitterati or anywhere else. Sure, read people comments but then let those comments lead you to doing your own research to decide for yourself what is right or wrong, but don't make any decisions based solely on what people say, no matter how high you may regard them. To do so is frankly, leaving yourself wide open to being manipulated and the subsequent losses that follow. Any serious investor here should have, at the very least:
1. Studied the RNSs from at least the last 12 months
2. Checked up on the main people in control of the company and watched or listened to them being interviewed
3. Understand what the projects are, what their likely time frames are, what the likely production costs from these types of finds are etc.
4. Understand how and where funding for proposed future works is coming from
5. Study what is happening in the gold exploration and mining industry as a whole at the moment, which includes what may or may not happen to the future price of gold and how that impacts on profitability of these projects.
