it's tough, like you just trying to pick up bargains here and there but even those mostly stagnate in the current environment.
And just trading etf's in a bored moment, longs only when I think ftse due a bounce with a s/l in place, working ok but not very profitable. Been trading KAZ of late which has worked well but a holder now (I think !)
The profits are just about offsetting my longer term shares atm

Oldjaybee, you'be asked the very same question that I've also always been ashamed to ask (as a relatively long term trader myself).
Ronin has answered as best he can for this share and its type but it doesnt answer the question for illiquid shares - if there is a buyer for every seller then who buys the share that I have just sold ? Is it the mm or is it the mug who just bought it off me and if so then why do I not necessarily see the opposite side as a trade
