I had that horrid flu thing last winter and I don't call it 'flu' lightly as I rarely get flu, all sorts of weird and crappy things I was getting and after effects went on for a couple of months culminating in bronchitis. Still think I'd have kept one eye on the bb though with a finger or 2 poking out to the keyboard from under the duvet lol, some things are just worth fighting for !

rjh, they have huge debt you have to take account of. Bit like having your house valued at £2m when you have a £80m mortgage (ok not quite the same but you get the drift)

Somebody mentioned a while ago a company that was heavily shorted (US co. I think), and it was obvious to see it's slow grinding uplift as they closed. I'm hoping to see the same here

That statement suggests exactly the opposite to your actual small loss, just confused that's all. I'd say you got off very lightly from your calcs (well done)

Woodstock, I'm puzzled by your calculation. By my reckoning if you sold half of your 10p shares at 16p then the rest at 3.4p then you only made a small loss on your original investment ? (unless of course you intended to type 1.6p)

because the mms have already seen it coming and marked it up beforehand and with each buy accordingly, onyl to pull the rug slowly after the event ? wouldn't surprise me, but it doesn't mean it wont go up in time

Gonna stick my neck out and say that the reason the sp has been held up the last few days is shorters closing each time, hence ehat appear as big buys. Once they've gone I fear for the sp.

I ust flicked through the majority of the daily results from that website from August thtough to the current day (quite easy to do).

Whilst I'm not an oil export or fluent in Spanish - in August and before the daily barrels number at the bottom averages around 4,000 of something, and slightly lower but not dissimilar in September, however from early October there is no doubt that number decreased into the high 2's on a daily basis to the current which is low 2's in January.

Fake or not I'm not comfortable with this, whatever has dropped off it has dropped off coincidentally with the movement of production reports to quarterly, is it feasible the end user could have too much oil and has asked for a smaller amount to be produced ?

I would like to see a production report or clarification asap before I can add here

It's not something I would be rushing into, might be a couple of years after relist as I'm quite patient and given time I believe they can get over this, might miss an initial uplift of course but plenty of other fish in the market in the meantime.
I'm not totally risk averse, Carillion is a good example, I actually made a little bit there on the way down but was out when it was at its riskiest point..
More interested in the story here than anything, and from experience I know easily auditors can be manipulated, seen it at several companies I worked for although I was never the one making the decisions. I don't know what they need to do to stop this happening but I don't believe there is an end to it as it stands.

not in here but fascinated by the story, been involved in several company audits and I know from experience some of the shenanigans pulled. Bobsto12 has it spot on below though, the bank balance cannot lie as it is the first point of proven reference for the auditors, and cannot easily be fraudulently reported. I note the cash balance has risen year on year however so they were cash generative it would seem.
Any views ?

For those still holding - Look at it from another stance. If you had bought at 1p and it was at 2p now and you knew it was going to be sold for 1p would you still hold ?
