RE: Sp20 Feb 2019 11:01
Just been doing my own analysis on the short positions:
- it's true that Immersion capital have been increasing their short, by about 1% since mid December, currently at 3.02 maybe they've reached their target
- Engadine have been reducing periodically from the high of 3.51% mid November to the current 2.09% - I'm going to assume they will continue to reduce
- Foxhaven haven't moved since May 17, maybe they've forgotten they are even short !! no reason to see this position changing in the short term
- Coltrane have been reducing since the high of May 18 and now sit at 0.67% since their last shown reductions (about 0.5%) in December, it's possible they might be below 0.5% by now, but it's likely that they will still be reducing
- One assumes that the previous shorters below notifiable are still closing, like Blackrock (last notifiable 0.4% 12/11/18, Gladstone last notifiable 0.49% 23/1/19, Kontiki last notifiable 0.49% 26/11/18, Pelham last notifiable 0.40% 21/12/18)
So assuming Immersion have reached their target % and that Engadine & below notifiables are still reducing, I'm going to plump that this can keep on rising slowly over the medium term
