Good luck Moni, imho I think it will prove to be a shrewd buy. I think the poor sentiment is well overdone and ORPH is a sound business.

I think the possibility of a share buyback will be an interesting question for CF. I won’t make the mistake of thinking someone else will ask it.

I agree Aquae, the investor meeting is an ideal opportunity to ask questions. I have listened to countless CF webinars but I am particularly interested in next weeks. I think CF has learnt to cut out the “irrational exuberance”, it will be good to hear Mo talk and hopefully we will get a more grounded idea of where we are with the spin offs etc.

I’m surprised as well Filter that the news hasn’t been reflected in the SP. It has definitely improved my sentiment. The knowledge, the contacts and as Soup says the energy that DG brings plus a massive vested interest in making it work. Great news.

I have got patience. But if you are not concerned by the continuous lurch downwards of the SP then I am afraid you are a fool.

Agreed Troutisout, obviously the Ukraine situation is negatively impacting pretty much the whole market. The worry for me, though, is that OO’s SP has been in decline for months now. I though 26p was a good buy price when I added last summer and it’s half that now.

Disappointing to see 14p level breached. Massively in the red now. Not tempted to buy more because we just seem to be on a slippery slope at the moment. Shame because I think ORPH is a solid business but all the RNS’s we have had haven’t been able to arrest the SP decline.

The ADVFN board is terrible at the moment for it Chab. An infestation of posters, who have no interest in AGL apart from having a stir and a gloat at the SP and others misfortunes.

My worry Moni is that the SP decline has been going on months now and no amount of good RNS’s has shifted it in the right direction. The SP slide predates Mad Vlad, although I agree the Ukrainian tensions have compounded the problem recently and that also the whole Aim sector is getting battered. I’m beginning to wonder what news will turn things around. DIM better be very good.

Yes, that’s sums up my situation very nicely Barwickman. Like NST I have added “along the way on 2 years of promises made by CF which havent materialised as of yet.”

I’m still holding and hoping that at least the DIM spin out will be successful. ORPH is a sound business but I am disillusioned that CF has missed his “promises” by such a margin.

Commiserations AJ. I don’t hold SNG but I lost a packet on SO4 back end last year when they went bust. It’s not a nice feeling at all.

It’s a tricky one. I am overweight on AGL with a high average. I have sold a corporate bond fund to free up some cash in my SIPP. I am tempted to try and lower my average but AGL holds a rather scarily large position in my portfolio and I am in the red.
Instead, if the markets turn nasty, I may try and drip feed some cash into a mainstream stock like LLoyds which at least is paying a reasonable dividend now. Decisions, decisions….

I’ve done that Bamb and bought more on a few occasions, all well in the red especially the ones from last summer.
I still think ORPH is a solid business but all the news firepower that CF has released hasn’t worked at all. I’m sitting on my hands for the time being.
Hope you are right AZM90 and I agree the whole market stinks at the moment. Good companies are being punished with the bad.

Thanks for the post Deezul, it really underlines how much Parsortix could offer and the frustration that it’s potential is being held back by the FDA backlog and bureaucracy.

Blah I hold POLX as well as AGL. I tend to agree with the fund manager, Paul Jourdan’s (TB Amati) scathing recent assessment of the FDA in relation to POLX. He described the FDA as “pretty dysfunctional” and that they used the CRL “simply to get more time” because they are so far behind. “Really bad behaviour, completely unfair on the company.”
Hope we get good news on AGL soon.
