Thanks JT, I remember a question being asked to Andrew Saunders during the same 2023 AGM.

Question

“With doxorubicin there is a lifetime cumulative maximum you can give. How

do you calculate that AVA6000?”

Answer (Andrew Saunders)

“So we look at the exposure and periphery in the plasma as a percentage of

what we would expect with standard dox and based on our computation we

can work out how many cycles that patient could have before they would

reach that threshold of standard equivalent standard doxorubicin exposure.

Typically, the limit on doxorubicin is 450/m2, typically that’s six cycles. Now

many patients in the real world don't get six cycles. Why? Because we scan

them after two cycles. If they don't have stable disease or response, we tend

to stop the drug because it's not working. The other reason they stopped is

they don't tolerate the drug. So a lot of patients don't get to six cycles, but

those that do tend to start with six, some trials have gone to eight but typically

six, and stop to minimise the risk of heart failure essentially.”

I don’t get your beef regarding patents Scinv, POLB are just doing what any good company would do, and protecting their IP and ensuring they have a “robust patent portfolio”.

It was interesting doing a word search for ‘patent’ in their latest annual report. I don’t have any issues at all.

I got my POLB shares via the spin off from Hvivo. I’m happy to hold and see what happens, POLB is an intriguing prospect.

For those who like some research, this is an interesting patent website site (updated once a week). I check it regularly for a couple of shares after the link was posted on a different board (thanks Soup).

(I usually select the ‘Any Field’ box for the search criteria as it gives you a wider search and from the sort function ‘Pub Date Desc’).

The last patent date information, I think, was 18th July “MEDICINAL PRODUCTS AND METHODS FOR THE ALLEVIATION OF CANCER IMMUNOTHERAPY-ASSOCIATED CYTOKINE RELEASE SYNDROME”.

Marc, LSE (and ADVFN) are full of either know-it-all or malicious posters who bombard boards with negative posts about companies they are not invested in. You are a prime example - 14 posts in the last few days. I gave you the benefit of the doubt with the first few posts, but now you are binned. Life is too short to read your deliberate agitating.

Yes, of course there are risks (and considerable rewards) with this type of stock. But as others have pointed out, POLB has a strong and experienced management team and CF is a canny very business man.

I check in on the board every day and I don’t recall seeing Bella bash. Bella always comes over as a very genuine investor in AVCT, which is more than can be said for some …..

Stt1, clearly Octopus Investments don’t see CF’s sale as a “big red flag”, as they now have a chunky 7.6% shareholding (51,804,020 shares).

One company that is not short of cash is Illumina - $877m as at the end of March. According to an article yesterday in GenomeWeb: “Developing "sample-to-answer solutions" was a stated goal of Illumina CEO Jacob Thaysen's in May following the release of Illumina's first quarter financial results”.

And just to confirm - the “aggregate” proceeds of the Placing, Subscription and Open Offer was £9.3m.

GG, you also have to add the proceeds of the raise/OO - an additional £9.3m.

The feedback from the AGM is that cash burn is approximately £1.3m per month.

I thought yesterday was a good day on the board - an exchange of views, well reasoned and politely argued. I also think you raise some valid points, and in fairness, some of your posts on ADVFN may have been provoked by the unnecessary rudeness of some of the posters on there.

Adw198, you may be correct in what you say. IG & AN have not got the best of track records at hitting their revenue forecasts. But for me, the positives (Illumina, AZ etc) outweigh the negatives.

Perhaps, though, you don’t appreciate how many times you are posting on a stock you are not even invested in - over 30 times this month on ADVFN. It’s becoming as repetitive as EC, who is at least invested.

BBN, I’m not so sure of your interpretation. But I could be wrong. I read the statement as meaning that they have 40% of the FULL year revenue contracted, so have 60% (£5m) of contracts remaining to ‘find’, complete the orders and invoice before the year end (December 31st)

I think you may have to read the prelim results RNS (5th June) again and the outlook -

“Revenue for H1 2024 is expected to be between £1.0 million and £1.3 million with a total of c.40% of FY24 market expectations for revenue1 already contracted year to date.”

They have approximately £5m of revenue to get in H2.
