Morning Adonis,
I totally agree with your statement, the investment costs would be enormous, logistical and engineering timelines would be challenging, have we missed this opportunity due to depleted wells and abandonment etc. I don’t know the answer to that, but the opportunity is there for eor and ccs.
As we well know times and attitudes are changing towards fossil fuels and how we look after the planet we live on.
Companies are changing there policies on how they operate and IMO that is why Massy are very keen to hook up with us, if they don’t dispose of the by product co2 responsibly from their manufacturing process in Trinidad I can see the business in a struggle to survive inline with the countries agreement with the Paris accord.
If I can see that then so can BPC and in the negotiations for Inniss-Trinity as we are not footing the bill, Massy are, I stand by my conviction that it will be sold for more than £$ 1.75m.
Co2 eor and ccs is IMO a whole new industry waiting to be acted upon, governments worldwide will be chomping at the bit to get in on the action, not fearful because of the cost to implement, but because of the jobs and the trillions in revenues it will create.
Paul and the team can see this happening, we are a part of making this happen.
