I know I keep banging on about CO2 and Trinidad whereas Morocco if successful will make more money initially but IMO without a successful CO2 outcome, all of our projects will be worth a lot less.

And more importantly it could be the saviour of the planet in which we reside.

As known shipping is the biggest contributor to green house gas emissions, so to have ammonia powered ships makes perfect sense.
Also Equinor attended the Cerm project briefings and have links to the ammonia plants in Trinidad through Norsk Hydro and of course the last bit which I found rather interesting, Equinor run 50% of Corrib.

That could be a way out for the greens in Ireland to give the go ahead for Ram head.
Just a thought.

Good point British Mike,
I think people were expecting 300 bopd, but that was never going to happen as that is forecast for phase three of the project, as of 2019 presentation when seven producing wells are brought onto stream within the pilot. (@ 42 bopd x 7 = 294 bopd)
The most encouraging aspect IMO is the two year non producing well coming to life on no stimulation, just the repressurisation/sequestration of CO2 within the producing sands was enough to deliver oil to the surface of its own accord.
That really is good news.
Paul did say in a previous announcement that other wells In close vicinity of AT5X (AT13 ?) would be kept under close observation in case this happens.
And very importantly no CO2 surface leaking, as this was one of the major factors for Texaco to cease operations previously in Trinidad on their eor Programs.
The following months will be very interesting indeed.

Yes agreed, such a shame today’s fantastic update on the success of the eor project in Trinidad was mired by a few individuals who were intent on shouting at each other instead of celebrating the monumental achievement by the BOD and everyone else involved in bringing a viable future to the oil industry.

Yes, good news for BPC,
Interesting that some posters on their board are asking “why are there no details on the funding for the drill”.
To the best of my knowledge there is a form of promissory lending agreed for the final amount required, but I would suggest they cannot divulge the details of where the various sums are coming from at this time, because if they did, it could possibly reveal the deal between our companies (+ Massy ? ). on the sale of Inniss Trinity.
With this in mind, would I be bold enough to suggest a deal is done ?.
More than likely due to the fact that BPC have “not” disclosed final funding agreements, being the drill ship is booked for December 2020.
All in my opinion of course.

Hiya Zebra,
I did think they were both buys, even before they were posted due to the way the bid and ask raised so quickly.
As I am learning every day on how markets operate, it did seem to me as an opertune moment to test the share on how it reacts to a relatively small trade when news is due and I think the proof was in the pudding when the trades were published well above the asking price that it has been trading for, as of the last couple of weeks, coupled with the fact that a few buys went through at full ask almost immediately as the sp started to rise. This tells me (a novice) this share is definitely on the radar of some and when it goes, its going to go quick.
And that’s not a ramp just an observation.

Had a look on the Cerm twitter page, the last tweet was in the 24th January 2020, so IMO probably COVID-19. Delays etc.

However on the Cerm webpage,

it is very clear the work that has been put into this project, how far we have come as a team and how very close it is to the target of 15000 bopd.
This IMO is incredibly important to the future of Trinidad and Tobago in so many ways for at least the next generation or two.

Morning all,
Thanks for all the great posts yesterday, glad it didn’t descend into a negative fest, we are so close to transformational news for the company and irgo we patient shareholders.
Tra-dy-liooar not that sure about delaying the drill or any of our projects to be quite honest.
Paul and the team have a time plan, Covid lockdown has been and is frustrating with regard to progress but if you refer to the last podcasts shared by Paul he does state that he is not known for his patience and sounded a bit peeved that the timeline has slipped,
I would be very surprised if he purposely delays Trinidad, Morocco or Ireland.
IMO he will be pushing hard behind the scenes to get the drill crew and the rig ready, the logistics to make it happen will be lengthy and complex, I am however quietly confident we will all be handsomely rewarded in the times to come.

My interpretation of the announcement was the relaxation of the COVID 19 restrictions was and is purely for business travelers as per the statement “invited by the company”
Hence no free for all on what we may class as normal visitors to the country.

Hi all
IMO, once the pilot is proven, in the very near future, I think T & T ruling bodies will want to push on with full field development at innis trinity as quickly as possible wether or not the field is sold and at the same time start on further field developments as mentioned in the company presentation.
I believe this is because this whole project has been in the planning for many years backed by the government with huge input from Cerm.
Through the Cerm modelling it wouldn’t surprise me if they passed over to PRD the intellectual property to progress the project.
You have to ask yourself the question, why was the contract of such importance awarded to PRD When in Paul’s words “to beat everyone else, is an achievement in its own right”
