Exporting all the work HE1 been working on for the last 3 months could be put to the bin if one of the parties in Kenya decides "no"
What on earth do these people do managing this project? Surely they would be smart enough to get an agreement in principle in place subject to successful conclusion to audit etc? Just major risk after the other. Hate to see this project's RAID report - way too high on assumptions, risks, dependencies and low on actions. Next year Noble Helium are going to want that drilling equipment that refer to as Plan B - they havent got Plan B agreed in any way except just to say they have optional rig - so they say they drilling in wet season January February - ok, also say Plan B is for equipment there will be major competitors wanting the same thing next April May June - export process should be signed off already and the rig should be on the way soon not held up now with the HE1 management team saying they going to Kenya to work through the export process when I thought Minch said he would be there at the final stages of the rig audit to sign it all off in person so he isnt even there - another misleading comment he previously said. Cant these guys plan a project properly? Multiple work streams - they overlap and you want to get it right - these guys have a one thing done, what now? ok do this - then finish that - what now? and then do that - or deal with issues, then next think, what now? and so on. I think Minch needs to go back to project management school. This isnt a hobby to be doing part time from a London office. this is going to drag out for months and months unless of course Minch gets a FLUKE after FLUKE after FLUKE etc.
