I was wondering if anyone could give me some sense to something that just keeps bugging me;
"Why since the drill fail of Tai 2 last year that a Project Director (ie) Minch (with a supporting BoD), has not been able to immediately secure an appropriate drill to go back to Rukwa nearly a year on??"
I just cant seem to get my head around this basic action required post Tai2 Fail and would assume it be such a high priority it would have been nailed in Q2 at the latest. What am I missing here??

I suspect this is probably the reason why they are going all out for the Tai Discovery to prove the projects credentials and potential further than a 8p stock price it is today - so no fund raising until a discovery is declared....

My basic understanding of these two presentations, one in SA and the other in UK - was to generate investor interest yet I havent seen any significant buying of HE1 stocks since those presentations, in fact the price has moved south on the back of low vols and general project uncertainty. Is there something I have not considered with regards to these 1-2-1 Mining presentations and no subsequent buying of stock as a result?

Yes, Muscles - you are right. 95% of investors ARE under water right now. That is correct.
So its simple as this -
1. DRILL or NO DRILL ....... then it will be .........
2. HELIUM DISCOVERY or NO HELIUM DISCOVERY

the share price dipping under and over 8p etc etc - 7p, 9p, kinda is irrelevant isnt it when you look at the volumes. Basically everyone (probably 95%+ of shareholders) are "in" and then you have the few that are bouncing in and out for various reasons. Its not "real investing" in HE1 - all the people invested for real are the 95% population who are simply just holding and waiting for the drill to happen at TAI. thats all - I dont even read in to the prices of this stock - if it is a fail and no drill happens this year then yes there is a major problem and people just sell at losses and thats when you will be seeing 3p HE1 stocks - but on the flip side, should they confirm as planned, then it will be double triple what it is today - so there are no "trends" to read in to or benchmarks of price to read in to - its simply a case of DRILL or NO DRILL - then it will be a case of HELIUM DISCOVERY or NO HELIUM DISCOVERY. It really is that basic at this time in the project and its associated Stock price.

well we are drilling at TAI Q3/Q4 which is Sept/Oct.
So assuming it would take a month to transport it all and set it up and be ready by end Sept/early Oct, I would say that the news confirming the details of the drill itself, the financing arrangement made for it and the support team, etc should be around mid to late August. Fingers crossed.

Word on the Street is that they are going for DISCOVERY as they are super confident that TAI is the one where they can dip the wick and pull out the words “We have made a commercial discovery of Helium” with the added confirmation that by doing this, they have unlocked the KEY TO THE ENTIRE RUKWA HELIUM HOLDINGS – at this point the share price in my belief would be north of 50p and discussions can begin about extending drilling to other similar showings and offtake agreements start getting agreed and so on – this 8p price is only here because no discovery been confirmed, delays in delivery, lack of communications from HE1, and general depression in the share markets around uncertain plays.
So once this is a HAE WE GOT IT!! All shareholders today will be able to kick back and think to themselves, we made it too – its no longer ever going to be 8p again – cruising thru 20WING, 30WING, 40WING and probably start cruising thru the 50WING and up –

One addition little wee comment – imagine if they say – ‘whoa we have some HE3 down here…. ‘…… there is a CHANCE that can happen isn’t there?

they come through as sells - how do you know for sure they are buys?

Q3/Q4 was given last as the drilling the ground target - so we nearly in the final week of first month of Q3 - assuming at this month is all about getting that drill serviced, worn parts replaced, and for the drill to be stress tested - so assume July taken up, August comes in where I think we could hear some news of that process - hopefully it is good news. When they stress test a drill like this 100T one they say they are working on, do they actually drill down 1000m in demo land to test it that way? What is involved in actually testing a drill to see if it can do as it says on the tin, which I recall is ability to drill down 2000m?
So August goes - then move drill to site and then start drilling for real at Tai again Sept/Oct - so it fits in still that guidance is still very much the real....

hopefully this week they are stress testing the drill to ensure it is fully up for the job, hopefully they have a site team at TAI preparing for the bigger kit expected shortly, hopefully they are aligning the stars ready to go big on TAI soon.

and obviously the roadshow 1-2-1 programme of presentations resulting in no uplift to share values at all. I consider all that a total failure. If was a success we would have heard an update from that effort to tell us what came from those efforts but silence as usual. Its such a shame - I wish we had a much better management team running this project - their lack of communications and ball dragging the entire project along on the cheap whilst not taking advantage of raising funds to ensure a full on multi site drill campaign just really puzzles me as competence and transperancy is one thing I look for. We had that last year and it worked well until we established they chose a drill that was not fit for purpose so they lied about that (ie) hey guys, we have taken a really cheap option on a drill not so ideal for us but hey, instead they told us RANDY is the MAN FOR THE JOB! ...Obviously, now for me its too late so I hold on only in HOPE that I am wrong and happily stand corrected should they prove me wrong with all this.

"I hope the one lesson we are not heading for is "we should have entrusted the drilling to an experienced contractor" - exactly - all they needed to do is sort out a rock solid drilling contractor with ability to deliver not some cheap short cut hope to get lucky with drill like last year. Comes back to my question - what have they been doing all this time?
MINCH has gambled the ENTIRE project on this ONE STRIKE (ie) TAI AGAIN with HUMPTY DUMPTY drill. WTF??
