"Well the price of oil was in the 100’s according to DW when Armstrong / OSH did a deal" think he referred to Repsol 1st deal in region which was a no. of years ago when was in excess of $100/barrel. OSH deal was in December 2017 when was south of price we are currently at ($60-$65/barrel)
"Motives behind the post?
Im a ****ed off long term investor who bought into this company as I was suckered in by the patter."
Suckered in by the patter??? Not much more to say. Plenty of other bulletin boards with the patter also, hopefully a lesson learned and after you have read the patter you DYOR so are comfortable with your investment decisions however they turn out rather than blaming it on those whose patter you were suckered in by.
Good luck to you and all
Away to get myself shot down here but reading some of the posts referring to seeing traces of hydrocarbons in the next ANN, we are seeing them already! "Approximately 24.8%, or 142mcf/d, of this is estimated to be hydrocarbons" equivalent to 24.48BOE/D (or $1,750/day approx lol)
In addition when operations are ongoing they have just about always put out weekly operational updates (& more frequent where merited) so not reading anything into this. The next RNS may not be the big one but quite easily be more of the same progress update Tuesday/Wednesday next week. Having established the habit of weekly operational updates think they will continue to stick to that...
Thanks Brom, I knew had been mentioned somewhere. In total agreement with you. Given the nature of the oil & gas industry can just about link anyone with a fanciful he worked with X company in Y location with Z individuals. Not paying any heed to it, although would love it to be true, but nonsense like that does us no good. GLA
Apologies, should have clarified that I meant Gregory Peck's estate! The Chinese angle has been mentioned previously (I believe by the company) but this is pure speculation with no basis and some seem to be getting some hopes up on it (Whittington seems to be grasping on Goody's promise that the streets are paved in gold all the way to Beijing or wherever Sinopec's main office is!)
Goody88 would love it to be true but you actually expected a response from Sinopec ???? Not sure the logic "they didn't reply so it must be true" holds. Similarly DW might offer a response but if he is in negotiations with Sinopec, Opec or Gregory Peck do you think he would advise you of any negotiations that may or may not be happening??? DYOR as you say
