The hype is similar to GME but fundamentals totally different - Gamestop artificially inflated, 88e potentially have assets, potentially worth substantially more - I would be very surprised if financial house gambling massive shorts on the outcome of a drill....

Morning slider, my understanding is that not possible to be through US times unless an early Oz announcement which might catch the closing hour of US (not checked all the time exactly to be sure)

No real pattern of announcements, during IW 1 I have it in my head was always mornings UK time and we got it first but in more recent times has changed to announcements in Oz 1st

Most likely scenario is that Oz will get it 1st given prelim news over the weekend and LSE not open until Tuesday

Too early in the morning for me but think final priced was equivalent to 4p???

Criminal not critical - I'm done for the night, will catch all in the morning , oh & I do see that US market is climbing quickly again ;-)

There's not a right or a wrong. If you sell at end of the day that's your choice, if you don't sell similarly your choice! You think that those selling don't realise that there is a US and Oz market before open??? You know your position at 16:25, it could have shifted enormously by 8:00 the next morning, positive or negative. Not so much the last couple of years but in 2016/2017 spent many a night up well past midnight watching the Oz market with joy or dread knowing you can't do anything until the morning.

Repeat that it's not a critical strategy, it's a different strategy and neither is right or wrong (no matter what tomorrow morning brings)...

Slider - I'm cool with you having that strategy and hope it works out for you - but calling out those that don't follow as "criminal"? ?? Not having it

What a pile of nonsense - you can look at it in a number of ways but it's not criminal. I'm a long term holder & declared a slice earlier in the week. I bought in in 2015, took full amount I could in a share issue then watched it go up to 3p+ (including once in the 4p region) without selling any significant amount then watched it all drop off again.

Criminal would be to not learn from mistakes and go through it again - might not make me as much at end of day if all goes to plan (& I sincerely hope it does and have a holding riding on it) but life changing money for me so sensible option given my own circumstances. All will have their own strategy and approach to risk and I hope this comes in for all.

Not level 2 but 1st show I have is 3.6-4.0 so 3.8sp, likely to fluctuate in the 10 minutes before opening

Phrontist (apologies abbreviated it to Phron previously which have been doing in my head for years!) - don't disagree with a lot you say, just flagging the discrepancy with the $10B > $350B comment as not as straightforward to that. Yes $10B will be chicken feed to these players (am based in NE Scotland also so well aware of the companies and their scale) as long as they feel good chance of getting value back which I believe they will, just not $350B

In respect of EmeraldCarrots OP and the bp comment I can't see them returning to Alaska any time soon given the recent move and the positive impact it had on their carbon footprint
