My goodness. Why bother developing new drugs eh. Just neck a few paracetamol. Ive been vocal about how much of a dog MXC has been in the last 12 months, but this is an excellent RNS. No denying it. This product alone has great potential to bring good revenue to MXC, something that has been missing and IMO has been the biggest thing causing the share price decline.
You'll need to try harder with the deramp, or just buy some? Still cheap at 1.45
I'm not embarrassed to declare my average.....
11.58
Wonderful.
I had a spate or poorly judged entry points in 2020. Think lockdown was driving me nuts.
Its particularly bad. I would average down but the lack of interest/sales and my own personal suspicions that somethig dodgy is afoot is stopping me doing so. Is there a risk this could be bought for next to nothing and taken private. Valuation would surely get to such a low level that this would trigger a reaponse from the business?
I hear you Poor. Im 66% down at current prices. Ive been here long before people were trying to take photos of a lorry in Nottingham.... Hehe.
I wouldn't stress. Its been powering through the blue for the last few days. A retrace was due and ia probably a healthy thing to happen or things get a bit too spikey. Update on media testing with Volz soon enough. I have a feeling the positive sentiment will continue. GLA.
UG. Totally take your point, it was surprising that the masks didn't materialise as a strong business, however, the mask machine was always going to be a failure. How could one mask machine churn out millions of masks to fill orders required if there was demand. Then there was the price point. It was a superior product that people just wouldnt have been willing to pay for. The new business direction makes much more sense. Licence the tech to those that was to use it and find partnerships so NNN doesn't bear the cost of development and certainly not start up manufacturing costs. I think we'll see nano on masks again at some point, but probably through an established manufacturer who already has a strong foothold in the market and churns out millions. For me the past is the past, and the board has to deliver on some elements of this new strategy in the next 12 months. The filter JV sounds like it has legs from the recent RNS, so I for one am excited again.
Folk still banging on about masks I see. They were so 2020. Chill folks. Sometimes in business you make the wrong calls, over/under estimate demand or undercook propositions. Its business at the end of the day.
Strike in all fairness, I've been down around 80% in a few stocks in tbe last 3 years due to my own poor decision making. Took the risk in averaging down in sole where I could, which I was lucky to be able to do. Its not the stocks fault for you being down 80% but your own poor decision making, just like my own, about when to open a position. Hang on. This feels like it is going places. Even if the Volz JV is the only vertical that reaps rewards the returns are potentially huge here. GLA
I reckon things will cool off a little in the next few days with perhaps a blue day Friday, or at least thats what im hoping. We don't want things to get too spikey. Strategy RNS and director buys positive. Personally I think the next bump will be when they update us on the fifth trial of performance of the Volz filters. GLA. Nice to be on the move again.
Its a stretch. But possible. My crystal ball says. 45 prior to close tomorrow.
Indeed. Absolutely huge. Ive been pretty vocal in the past about how frustrated I was with NNN. However this update today couldn't be more positive. Although its a bit loose on the milestone front, we have a fifth trial of nano applocation to Volz media in the coming weeks which I would hope NNN would update the market on results. This for me is the near term revenue generating project. I just wish the business would update shareholders on progress a little more.
Personally im more confident a successful turnaround is underway but there will probably be no quick bucks here. The wheels of industry turn slowly but im quietly confident ill see a good return on this now. Although from here im looking at 200%. Gla. A good start to the week id say.
I've come to learn that PIs always get shafted, its just a matter of when, how frequently and in what manner. The only way to make money is to time your entry and exit correctly between the shaftings. Something ive still to master.
If this finishes blue tomorrow ill eat my keyboard.
Lets hope so Iceman. Hoping for a show stopper to calm the sea of red in my portfolio.
I have a substantial wedge of 4D in my SIPP. Hoping that wasnt a huge mistake. Time will tell.
Castle. Serious question from someone who does work in the field of HVAC but defo not an expert. If we do manage to get a product line up and running with Volz will this not be dependant on the reliability of the media to retain its anti viral properties between the standard PPM visit regime? If so, I like you can really see this taking off, as it would be a no brainer in office/health/educational settings etc. Why would you buy a non-anti viral panel filter when you could buy an anti-viral one, and that brings me to the 2nd point.. Cost! If the treated filters are more or less the same price as non-treated, plus they keep their full anti viral properties for the normal life of the filter then im excited.
Im with you on this Iceman. A warning that there may be further extension is fair. I can't see what all the hysteria is about? People after a quick buck should go down to William Hill.
Tremendous news
I'll drink to that.
Only recently invested, but everything im reading now seems to confirm this. Perhaps should have done a bit more research myself. Still hopefull of some mid term profit due to new wells. Perhaps not a long term hold for the reasons you state. Hope im wrong...
