Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
Hi,
I thought Steve was formidable on the latest FY results presentation. Now been sent in to play with the big boys. Politic in action.

Hi,
1 I think Bressay gas cap was development plan through for approval by end of year and works planned soon after. £60 million. £30 million per year for diesel at Kraken and this would replace 80% of that.
4 Plenty of mention of international growth opportunities but North sea with tax benefits and Malaysia with "preferred operator" status come first. No mention of AB's Davos murmur.
5 Dividends. Lots of intention signalled but no date as far as I can recall.
"Hopper" opportunities was me. Don't give me that jargon . . . . GLAXXX
Hi Stevo et al,
I listened to the meeting earlier. I've tried to find a transcript but I am fairly sure I heard AB mention Indonesia (as hinted at Davos) fairly early on and in relation to an increase in gas in the mix. I think this year a "late life operator top quartile everything" confidence in the North Sea was balanced by an increased future outlook NOT in the North Sea but abroad with "core capabilities" (drilling, interventions and decomm) being mirrored in Malaysia and possibly elsewhere. I don't remember the "we could go elsewhere" proposal being so prominent before even if that is maybe 5. 10, 15 years away. Tie that to the comments on lack of investment and it is politic. Nice work.

Hi,
I'm calmer now disrupters are more or less absent from the board. Lord knows what Swinney is up to now. I still hold out hope, although pounds down and having been here a while. Thursday will be interesting.
I still occasionally catch up with the Barakah legal case which now has a mid April end date and which if successful is worth approx. $12 million if victorious to maybe spread across the dividend timetable.
PS I also haven't got a clue . . . . .

Hi
So I get 43692 boepd for Jan 24 with Malaysia at 2023 average with carry gas caveat.
Not much notable but Golden Eagle up 300 boepd with new well online at some point in January. Magnus with a 1.7k dip, let's hope the rust bucket hasn't sprung another leak. GKA upwardly resilient and fending off the retirement home.

Hi,
This is interesting strategically and the lecture will tie in to the operations update.

Salman being sold as an innocent outsider to the O&G industry despite 11 years in the game. For once this looks like co-ordinated PR. Watch the share price tank if you are used to it!! But fingers crossed of course. Wonder if he will cactually ommit to anything ??

hi,
it's maybe less exciting than it used to be but it seems to be kraken time again with amundsen spirit being flagged as a prospective visitant. snergelley hose at the ready, like a breast feeding thirteen year old at a nursery open day (o.k. it would be weird for them to have a hose but it's comedy). with current numbers and my calcs i have a kraken premium of around $7. keep smiling dudes even if like me you are down a **** ton of money.

This one maybe??
Hi,
As McLondoner touched on electrification of the Kraken I thought I'd put this on the table.
I remember previous discussion here about Kraken gas being used as a happening fuel source and therefore of a value. The linked and confidential yet publicly available (!) report from April last year would imply that is not currently the case.

As well as concluding on the feasibility recommendations.

Hi,
This isn't all new but flags up the presence of Bentley around the Viaro deal as a "big prize".

If your money is on the longevity of NS O&G then who wouldn't want to be in.
I'm hoping it starts to make sense shortly as there seem to be a bunch of posters with sofa problems. We'll all have one of these before we know i:

Hi ProdOpt,
Last Ops Update had the results of the tPM409 est well; "Following the drilling of the commitment well at Block PM409, the Group can report that the well was plugged and abandoned dry. Following confirmation from Petronas that all well requirements had been met by EnQuest, no further drilling is planned for PM409" So not that one I am afraid. GLAXXX
Hiya,
I recall the days of filter training and shining a stony light in the faces of trolls gone by.
I think you are after an "Itsa P onzi" who still sits in my filtered field of green.
LTHers will recall I have a therapeutic mission to assist those here for only meddlesome purpose. I'm not tarring Stevo with that brush. Over the many years that I have scraped to lower my average and wait for this baby to come good people have often commented how civilised this board is compared to others. It's great to feel an sense of kinship with others that have frikked over their life savings on a dog that keeps promising to growl and be proud but ends up wandering happily around the park eating other dogs poop and then throwing up on your three piece.
Bear with it brothers and sisters, I smell dividends, buybacks, joint ventures, late life expertise, successful sidetracks, coiled tubings, zero lti's, high percentile hoodjamaflips, stale lambrini and . . . . money.
