Overdone?
What do they have to show for the £53m market cap?
"Cannot understand this sell off."
It will be the usual sort off to jump into whatever share happens to be spiking upwards today. The investment case here keeps getting stronger but many do not have the patience required to see it out.
If they can replicate the January results down a few more holes then this £6m market cap will go up significantly!
IMO
"Labs have to test a new product, confirm a new supplier can supply the demand, check the supplier, agree terms, etc. BC don’t just need to sell $millions of Genedrive’s test, they have to convince labs to stop buying $millions of existing supplier’s tests."
Preefty it is a circa 2 hour covid test and we are in the middle of a Pandemic. They are not trying to broker the sale of used car ferries to Tajikistan!
The first shipment went over to the USA 6 months ago. Where are the sales figures?
I was going to stop posting on here this month. But starresnstoff 800p prediction today made me think. I mean his guesses so far have been so accurate that it must be true. Should we start calling you Nostradamus?
15 Dec
"in my view just a matter of time before some approval/RNS's land. personally still think FDA approval is likely this week."
24 January
"they will get the FDA approval for the lab test soon."
30 March
"the European Ministry of Health order will probably come very soon."
29 April (SP at the time 72p)
"I think the sell-off was way over done as well. yes, there was the delay. yes, results for previous 6 months were very week, but the message was that next 6 months was a likely to be a lot, lot better!"
16 April
"might be more than chatter this time and hopes. could be the real thing, blast off time coming"
06 May
"Yes, big sales coming in India soon me thinks..."
"£0. As they have invested all their capital."
You might need to know what net worth means before you attempt to answer the question.
Okay then chaps here is a hypothetical question for you. Let us assume somebody sold all of their posessions and invested every last penny (for this example £100,000) into ODX at 84p. Fridays price closed at 42p.
What is their current net worth in GBP at this exact moment in time?
"FFB, the only people who have lost money, are those that have closed positions."
Absolute 100% nonsense.
If you got in at 84p and still hold you HAVE lost 50% of your original investment. Why do people have this BS idea that you only lose money when you close a positon?
"@Punter , are u still invested in GDR? I wouldn’t talk nonsense all day if I am. "
Talking nonsense?
Several people are suggesting a takeover is likely. I am suggesting that it is not.
Yet you pick ME up for talking nonsense? Fine I will leave you all alone in your echochamber to ramp between yourselves. I might pop back in September and you can all update me on the latest takeover news.
Listen this is a very good company with some exceptional and class leading products, but constantly making up stories about a takeover is not helpful.
What do you mean they "could sell any test"?
It takes a company to approach Beckman and ask them to be the middle man. Beckman would not randomly start selling companies tests for them. Why would somebody like Nova for example ask Beckman to sell their tests, when have have been damn good at getting their own contracts?
Explain that.
This is a real shame that the January drill results were so strong but they have not delivered veyr much since. Exploration takes time but we need some more finds to get the SP rise back on track.
Without any significant gold finds it will continue to drift imo. This was built up on speculation about a JV that never materialised.
"If Genedrive is attractive to BC, then it should also be attractive to others."
If IF.
Nova CYT have had mutiple testing contracts and not been taken over. Omega have at least one contract and not been takeover. But yeah a diagnostics company with no reported sales are a prime takeover target.
Stop this mindless ramping!
Exactly RoW. Why indeed.
The good old takeover card is the final weapon in the rampers arsenal. When all other avenues have been exhausted.
If I never heard the word 'manipulation' again on this message board it would be too soon.
"This is being manipulated like crazy"
The mms job is to manipulate the share price. That is literally what they are there for.
Why does it matter and why do people vote up these posts?
Oh and good luck investing in an oil and gas minnow when the world is clearly shifting to renewables. smallcap O&G exploration was risky twenty years ago, now I would not touch it with a ten foot bargepole.
"The market is in danger of losing it's retail investor base because it is not rewarding risk."
Oh come off it.
Risk alone will not get rewarded. You need to make educated risks and accept that chucking your money into gambles does not guarantee success.
A lot of new retail investors appeared due to the pandemic with money in hand and nothing else to spend it on. Look at the FTSE AIM all share index for the last couple of years. If you are a new investor and has somehow not many money between the start of the pandemic and now you might as well pack it in. Stop blaming the market which is clearly not to blame. Look at the investments you have made and why they did not give the returns you were hoping for.
Oh behave Roger
The shareprice is gradually dropping as the market does not feel there will be significant revenue any time soon. If there are bumper sales to be reported then the SP will rise, otherwise the drip imo will continue.
Stop trying to breathe meaning into a very simple situation.
