GGG - I have to agree with SirMark, We have to be able to overcome other investors that could be sweeetened to back him!

May be SM knows the barrier we need to cross to get to the finish line?

I think Stas20 has it about right, I think we have to be honest and clear but also use diplomacy to win over the key shareholders here to stand any chance of raising the % we need not just for the EGM but also overcome PB and his supporters!

It would be outrageous and morally wrong if PB and his team were able to scoop up shares on a 50% discount compared to ordinary shareholders, who must pay the full price!! It also represents a smack in face for LT shareholders who are currently suffering huge losses on their holdings.

Does anyone know if Purebond is likely to push for bigger changes at TXP?

Dbh I don't think most people are so naive to think that management changes can happen with a finger click....you are stating the obvious!!

Wake-up dbh, it happens all the time when needed, major shareholders will open the door to new management to unlock better prospects for the business concerned.

Often times the new CEO , whi is up for the challenge, will bring in key personal to build his team in fairly quick order. Sometimes people he has worked with before.

This happened in my portfolio, when a new CEO was was head hunted by the major shareholder Nick Candy for MTL and there has been no looking back as the company has gone from strengh to strengh!!!

The SP is generally the final proxy for the details you feel are unknown. It has been saying very loudly that we are not being steered well.

We need a new captain that can assemble an effective team, the SP will then start to sing a very different a song, much more pleasing to our ears and feet!
