'Doctors' leaders have called for urgent improvements in personal protective equipment for health workers. The British Medical Association is appealing for a higher grade of face mask to guard against coronavirus infection.'
RMS, right time, right place it seems.
The share price decline is self inflicted. Terrible comms with customers and shareholders alike. MVR have only just updated their 'Happy Christmas' message, tells you all you need to know currently about how much they care less about the business.
Grant needs to start making an impression on the business and soon.
@mel5, I agree with you on the need to stop projects that aren't worthwhile and certainly believe they would have got good feedback on their own devices. It's a shame the company haven't informed shareholders of this decision and it's taking them this long to decide on the cost cutting exercise, when numerous RNSs have said this was coming and we have heard nothing to the contrary. I do believe money has been wasted for not acting sooner.
The mobile app update has removed the VR player option, it now does not split the screen to allow the phone to be added into their viewer.
@mel, reread final results RNS, June 2020, warehousing costs and device expense for own headsets, for something that isn’t happening now given the app doesn’t do 360VR, AM knows how to waste money not make it. Napster was his get out of jail card for MVR.
Interesting to see SourceBio announcing a Covid testing agreement for the high street, ‘gold standard’, is this anything to do with NCYT and if not why haven’t they got traction?
... e believe the provision of highly accurate, gold standard, fit to fly, and test to release test results made available on high streets...
The headsets are unusable if the 360 VR feature is now gone from the app. They may as well stick them up on eBay and get what they can. MVR need to update shareholders.
@lordfont, I agree there will be consolidation within the Melody and Napster, this can already be seen. The latest app update has removed the VR google icon. Phones now not being used for VR experience in favour of headsets?
According to the website which hasn’t been updated there are still 77,603,512 options left. This all seems to be straight out of the AIM handbook, TB will probably exercise all his options and end up with a good percentage of company, then vote in favour of the warrants.
'Happy Holidays' from MVR - still haven't updated their social media account banner. Expect they are still busy though, doing all these deals from those that are knocking the doors down and creating 'Live music that comes to you', it's just that they don't tell anyone, including their customers. Don't worry, AM knows exactly what he is doing.
I wonder if AM and co are back off from their Christmas Holidays, expect they will need some time to settle into the roles again, maybe we will get some news by March :)
Warrants couldn’t get cancelled without problems, so fair enough, is it simply a matter of getting a majority in favour of cancelling or does there need to be a threshold? Will have to see if any TR1 appear of all those interested parties to get them away are under 3%. My feeling is warrants will happen one way or another and we will all be even more annoyed with the current board with less voting power from GC.
TB is still hanging around like a bad smell, Alex is only joining board for a provisional 3 months until the current lot decide if he can stay, and warrants are still coming. It’s a start but not enough, current board still have too much control.
I think today’s RNS just proves that Matchett is not capable of running this company and it needs someone with much more business experience to move this company forwards. With AM at the helm this company is not going nearly as far as it should, he needs to go, a clean slate.
Check out @Chrispye84 on ICON board, posts but doesn't reply when questioned.
If @Chrispye84 knows where the shares are held he better tell the company and tell those people to get the TR1's in. I don't feel Shareholders and Gareth Cave have enough of a percentage of the company to make the changes needed. .
You only have to look at other AIM companies such as NTOG to see what directors will do to keep their jobs, this is just the start.
Looks like G Cave has some teeth after all - good for him, EGM request and remove the directors and take back control. Well done.
Is this what a 'the world's foremost music experience, available seamlessly across audio and visual media and in turn presenting a truly next generation music service' looks like Anthony Matchett?
Surely P2F is owned by RMS, Gareth Cave is a shareholder in RMS as part of that deal/sale process. All patents are owned by RMS now?
