We’ve also been looking for a way to enable fans to have a high quality, low-cost fully immersive VR experience. Launching later this summer, our mobile VR viewer will soon be available to purchase in two ways: directly via our mobile app, or as part of a content bundle, where for an all-in-one price you get a mobile viewer, and access to a whole MelodyVR show.’
Summer ends on 23rd September, MVR better a wiggle on.
This to me sounds like a bit of a turning point. The first time JQ has admitted the legacy issues are not the centre of attention and their new business is taking priority. He is even off to work on the £1 million contract and iron out the income from that. Onwards and upwards.
‘The Board plans to work on a rebrand and relaunch of GSN in the coming months and believes the business will be highly complementary to the agency and consulting offerings from the Iconic Labs group as a whole. Importantly the Board do not believe that significant working capital will be required to bring the relaunched GSN to profitability in a short time frame.’
On the one hand they say it will take months to rebrand and relaunch, on the other ‘a short time frame’, no wonder this company is not getting its own website up and running if it runs in those timeframes.
I think all we can hope for at present is a monthly update, ‘...which the Company will endeavour to answer regularly’. So two weeks more waiting to see if they have managed to achieve something, which I doubt as they don’t seem in any rush to start delivering on their promises.
At least we can rule it out of the equation once the date passes and have one less excuse to blame the poor performance on. I'd hope the figures from GMA will be available tomorrow as Wireless figures were put out very quickly afterwards, maybe they have more to assess this time around before passing comment, new partnerships as a result etc.
