RE: More aviation eye tracking7 Feb 2020 23:58
"Hinfact, a start up company created as a spinoff from a research in Tolouse , ... , developed Gazecraft. The solution makes the most of eye-tracking, thanks to systems that are increasingly cheap, easy to install, and accurate and reliable"
That is a glowing recommendation for Smart Eye's little cameras ( Smart Eye Pro ) https://smarteye.se/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/CT-Smart-Eye-and-Hinfact-2.pdf

EXPECTED COMMERCIALIZATION
***The young start-up now has 11 employees and is entering its second year of existence by crossing the symbolic threshold of marketing, scheduled for early 2020. First target customers: some 300 major airlines and large independent training centers, who are closely monitoring the arrival of this new tool.***
" Gazecraft is of additional interest to these entities," emphasizes Thibault Vandebrouck , CTO of Hinfact , that of facilitating the upcoming implementation of new standards in training programs, thanks to very agile digital tools. Data feedback, adaptation of programs and definition of objectives, everything is integrated and easy to use. " One solution now so successful that it can easily be deployed on different ****pits. “ Any critical system operator is likely to be affected,” confirms Thomas Bessière , because Gazecraft adapts to helicopters as well as submarines ! ".
A COLLABORATION WITH THE GIANT SMART EYE
Another innovation for the company is the start of a collaboration with the world leader in eye tracking technology , the Swedish Smart Eye. An opportunity for one to access innovations that are directly complementary to their activity and for the other to benefit from the experience and vast international distribution network of a company present in multiple markets. The two companies will participate together in the ITSEC fair in Orlando, Florida.
If the Hinfact adventure is still in its infancy, its leaders therefore have great prospects ahead of them. A development that will be accompanied by a move to the neighboring Innov'Space, additional hires after three recent conversions from internships to permanent contracts and a fundraiser, " when we feel ready, " concludes Thomas Bessière.
