Perhaps I am just stating the obvious, but since the fundamentals and getting stronger and stronger while the current strategy uncertainty is having a negative impact on the share price, this is just emphasising the buying opportunity persisting in the short term. Long term the investment seems very sound to me.

My own orientation is that IF a deal is announced this year, it's going to go through at the 70-80p range. But I don't see NM doing that. Next year, with further progress, probably 100-120p, and I am still not sure NM sells. Kind of annoying if our retirement plan has to be NM's retirement plan.

Great question, impossible answer. If NM is really not willing to sell until full value is realized, we might be here entertaining each other with wild guesses until after 2022.

All assuming the current issuance and based on MRE2, imho SOLG should be priced around 55-60p at this stage, move to around 95-100 after the BFS, and north of 300p once the mine is in development.

Either way, looking at the price action, and having missed the climb in March that was sitting nicely with my Hurst/Elliott/Fibonacci/SuperTrend voodoo, I am giving up on an immediate rise and think that we might stay weak for a bit and look at the next peak towards the beginning of June. Jerry, SOLG has developed a methodology that relies on modelling and pre-drilling data, and the model gets more and more accurate as they collect data. So my take is that, if Porvenir has shown credible signs that it might be another monster resource NM might decide that he has the next big thing to look at and might be more willing to let go of ENSA. Of course I might be completely off track, but I suppose the scenario is a possibility.

If the second huge resource, after Alpala, has been found, it's possible that the NM has agreed to sell ENSA and move on to the next monster, hence current delays are linked to spinning off ENSA from Solgold, which is a change of strategy and might also go to explain the CGP drama unfolding at present.
Interesting times these are, if only we could finally see some action!
