Well, they also say that they have completed some of the conditional finance package work, which we don't really know anything about, and in my opinion contradicts the following line item (off-take), which I would see as a mutually exclusive financing alternative to conditional finance.
Clearly we would do with some more clarity, although the company is obviously making progress in a phase of the project where there is a lot of background work and not a lot of market recognition for it (hence the term "orphan period").
We keep speculating about the CGP situation, but factually I still don't see any hard evidence that it's holding us back. Maybe it is, but I would like to see better evidence for it.
From the facts that are published, I tend to assume that the project is still growing and SOLG are just taking the time that it takes to try and get the best package out.

While I join the unhappy brigade about the lacking news, as a private investor I am at least pleased that over time we have received responses from NM, Anna, Karl, etc.
Other companies are just systematically unresponsive.
One thing that gives me solace besides the recent BHP funding is the options granted to BHP with strike 37. Not 30 or 35 or 40 or any other round number.
I don't necessarily want to read too much into it, but it might be another hint.

Well Aurora, being long GGP I hope you are right of course, but based on the data I outlined, that is my estimate.

I am currently looking at 10mln ounces and $47/oz, which is the average of recorded deals in Asia and I get 3.94 as a personal target.

Should we have 20mln ounces in Haverion and we own 30% of it and we don't consider the other resources to be priced in, considering that the median of historic deals as per the article you can find on the Kitco website is $39 and if we use a gold price of 1550 and cable at 1.31, the theoretical price for GGP is 6.54
I think that $300 is fantasy land, we can hope for a higher price than the median just on the basis that Austalia might command a premium and that Newcrest may have a particular incentive to buy given the proximity to Telfer.

Shippy, you have had good communication fron NM and gang, have you recently heard from them? I have had conversations in the past but no responsr lately.

Methink that one fundamental takeaway form the knowledge that about 65% of SOLG shares are in stable hands, nothing is going to change until the full strategy that NM has orchestrated comes to fruition and those stable hands are satisfied with it. Until then we PIs are just passengers.
