German industrial production slumped 1.9 percent in November, raising the risk of an imminent recession for Europe’s largest economy. It’s the worst year-on-year drop since the end of the financial crisis.
The data shows that a recession in Germany is likely this year.
There are more concerns about France however. That will be the epicenter of the crisis this year -- it’s the elephant in the euro-zone room...... Bloomberg.

I suspect most contributors on this BB know my views on Brexit by now, but I must admit I'm not fully conversant with TM's so called Brexit deal. Now sure, we know about and hear about the "backstop" with all the horrendous implications this can bring, not to mention the 39 billion. However I do know this.
The 27 countries left in the EU (as has been reported) took precisely half an hour to approve this exit deal, you gotta ask yourself why? They must have fallen over themselves to approve it. I know the money was a big incentive but I suspect there is more to this.
If we go ahead with TM's deal we're going to get even more stitched up with the ongoing trade negotiations, and we will end up signing away most of what we've taken back. This has already been made clear by premature demands from various EU countries that benefit from certain sectors.
It's looking more like a no deal would be the better option, then everybody can start on an even keel, that way we can take our time over future trade relations.
You never know the EU may change in all recognition especially after the forthcoming May elections.

Can't argue with that LEVIS, but at least you have the right, supposedly to protest peacefully, well that's my understanding. But of course, if it upsets too many snowflakes seems they take umbrage very easily, and try to silence peeps.

I set limit orders sometimes when I know I'm not going to be online. However when you're sitting in front of your PC logged on and waiting for a trade there's nothing more frustrating than seeing the message 'unable to process your request' or words to that effect, please ring etc etc.
Actually limit orders are not foolproof either sometimes they don't behave the way you want. Also depends what type of investor you are.
In my experience if you want the returns you have to work at it.
Yeah sure some stocks you can just buy and forget about them, set a limit order if you want, but others warrant a bit more attention.

Probably large sell volume after opening, I tried and failed. Invariably, well not every time, best time to trade is directly after the opening bell.

You gotta laugh, but you should give thanks that you live in a democracy, it wouldn't be tolerated in a lot of countries.

Couldn't execute my sell just after opening, this happens quite regularly to me, anyone else had similar experiences? Don't know if this is KAZ related or the trading platform.

Typical, just bought a few 2000 @ 510p by the time I looked at the contract note we dropped to 502, lol.

Crowcast you clearly have no idea of DCBLT's post history on the Lloy BB, if you did you wouldn't have made that statement. You have to remember DCBLT is not a UK national and he/she delights in slagging off the UK at every opportunity, Brexit views aside. BTW there are others on here that delight when they find UK negatives (you know who you are).

For someone who has only been a member here for three weeks (unless you are a reincarnation also) I dont feel you are in a position to lecture me or for that matter anyone else about individual's behaviour and posting style.
